The rest of the year went by very fast, and I found myself getting depressed that it was already June, and my fourth year would be ending in a week and a half.
I wouldn't be able to see Draco until the new school year started. He told me that his parents weren't very welcoming towards anyone who wasn't a Slytherin. I know, it's bloody ridiculous how strict his parents are. He did promise me that he would write a letter every week for the summer break. I was still a bit torn up about it though.
In July, Luna was going to spend three weeks with me, because mum and I are going to Brazil, and Luna is coming with us! Mum planned the whole trip and surprised us.
And then in the middle of August, I was going to spend a couple of days with Astoria and her family. And the whole while, I will probably be thinking of Draco.
Anyway, tomorrow is the final task in the tri-wizard tournament! All of the competitors will be put in an enchanted maze. The enchantments can make you go crazy, so it's very dangerous.
My mum knew Cedric Diggory's mum when they went to Hogwarts. Her name is Anastasia Winthitch, she was a half blood Gryffindor. Even though mum was a Slytherin and Anastasia was a Gryffindor, they were good friends.
Through the halls everyone was joking like it was the happiest day in their existence, but not me. I had a feeling. A bad feeling. And when I get bad feelings, they're never wrong. It was a solemn feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I couldn't shake it. When we were at dinner I told Luna about it.
"Luna what is someone gets hurt in the last task?" I blurted out as she was eating a bite of the chicken. "Gemma, don't worry about it, they put their names in the goblet, knowing that they could get severely injured." She said as she spread peach marmalade on her bread. "Except Harry." I added, still not convinced. "Well, somebody put Harry's name in the goblet for a reason--"
"Yeah, but what if, I don't know, what if someone dies?" I interrupted. She looked thoughtfully at the ceiling. After a while she said, "I suppose I don't know what would happen if something drastic happened."
You know how when you're dreading something, you get that lump in your throat, or the butterflies magnify to stars exploding in your stomach? Well, that was the feeling I was feeling. It was almost like a sixth sense.
I went to bed that night feeling nervous for what unknown dangers the contestants would be facing tomorrow, and who would live and who........would die.
