Chapter 10:

I didn’t know how much time had passed. It felt like days, but it could have only been hours. Landon stayed curled on my lap and I gently rocked him back and forth. I still didn’t understand how Nash could be his father. Landon looked nothing like him.

“What do you mean he isn’t dead?” I heard yelled in the hallway.

I put Landon on the ground and crawled over to the door. This close to the door, I could hear what Nash was saying better.

“Sorry, boss. We thought he was dead. But when we went back for the body, he was gone,” someone explained timidly.

“So you’re telling me that Tommy is still alive and is most likely with that piece of crap gang he calls his friends?”

“Most likely, boss,” the man said.

“Well then, get the guys and find out where Tommy’s gang is hiding. I want him taken care of once and for all. I’m sick and tired of my idiot brother getting in the way.”

Funny how Nash just told me Tommy isn’t even his brother, yet he still calls him brother. Footsteps came closer to the door and I backed up quickly, putting Landon back on my lap. He stirred slightly, but stayed asleep.

Nash stormed in and grabbed me. I held tightly onto Landon as Nash dragged me down the hallway and threw me in a black van. Landon was now wide-awake and close to tears.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked.

Nash growled, causing the guy driving to flinch. “As it turns out, your ‘fiancé’ isn’t dead after all. So, to draw him out of hiding, we are using you as bait. Tommy will do anything to protect you.”

The car stopped outside of a large mansion. It was definitely bigger than Tommy’s house. I wonder if Mrs. Gray was worried about me. I doubted it. She never really liked me much.

I got out of the car and walked behind Nash into the house. A group of boys stood there. They all eyed me like I was a piece of meat. I held Landon tighter to me. Right now, he was the only safety I had.

“Boys, this is Samantha Anderson. She is Tommy’s fiancé. As you know, I want Tommy dead. I have a feeling his stupid gang found him and are probably thinking of a plan to get Sam back. Do anything you have to, and find out where his gang is. We’ll be using Sam here as bait. And once Tommy is dead, you can do whatever you want with her.”

The boys grinned. One of them stepped forward. “What about the kid?”

Landon whimpered as Nash said, “I don’t care what you do with him. Honestly, I might take him back to his mother.”

“Boss, I have a plan,” another guy said.

 *Tommy’s Point of View*

Even though Sam was missing, I couldn’t help but smile as I walked back into the house I had left months ago. I was thankful Tanner and Nash had showed up when they did.

“Hey guys, get in the living room. We found someone!” Nate yelled up the stairs.

I took a seat on the couch as three more guys ran down the stairs, all pushing and shoving each other. They all stopped when they saw me sitting there. Hunter, the youngest of the group – being 14, ran forward and hugged me.

“Hey, Hunter,” I said, hugging him back.

I looked at the other two. Jack and Matthew were my closest friends before I decided to leave the gang. They were pretty angry with me and I wasn’t sure how they were going to react to seeing me now.

“What are you doing back?” Matt asked.

I sighed. “I was beaten up by Nash’s men and Tanner and Nate found me. I would be dead right now if it weren’t for them.”

“We all know Nash is a bad guy, and it’s no secret he hates you. But why would he try killing you?”

“Well, recently, I was forced into an arranged marriage with my ex-girlfriend, Samantha. Nash killed her sister a few years back. He’s had it in for her since she was the one who was supposed to die. But I was in the way. Nash took her, I think. Anyway, I want to find her. Which is why I will need your help.”

“You left us remember?” Jack told me.

“I know, and I am sorry for that. I was having problems at home with my mom and I needed out. It was one of the biggest mistakes of my life,” I apologized.

Jack looked at Hunter. His opinion always meant the most because he was the youngest and the smartest. “Well, we all missed you. Welcome back to The Aces.”

Hunter went over to hug him. “Thanks for this Jack.”

Jack nodded his head and sat on the couch next to me. The others sat down as I explained to the full extent my story. By the end, I knew I could count on these guys to help me find her. I just hoped we weren’t too late.

*End of Tommy’s Point of View*

I was going to die. I knew it. This plan was going to kill me. The camera was focused me and I couldn’t help the tears that fell.

“Now, Sam, say anything you want to the camera.”

I took a deep breath. “Tommy, please save me. I don’t want to die like this.”

A blindfold was placed over my eyes and something sharp placed against my neck. “Let’s hope my little brother gets this before it’s too late.”

A/N: I thought I would update since I have a snow day. I hope you enjoy this chapter. I tried making it longer, but I'm not so sure I succeeded. I'm sorry if it's boring.

What do you think the plan to get back Tommy is? How do you feel about Tommy being in a gang? You found out Tommy's secret, but what is Sam's secret that doesn't make her as innocent as she seems?

Comment, vote, fan, whatever. I'll try updating again soon.

And, I just want to say thank you to everybody who is reading this story. I never expected people to like what I write, and now I have over 1500 reads on this story. I really am thankful. I don't think I am a good writer, but everybody who reads this makes me feel better about my writing skills.

Another thing, I need ideas on who should play Hunter, Jack, Tanner, Nate, and Matthew. If you have  any suggestions on who could play them, just write a comment or send me a message.
