SOTC: I See You by:Luke Bryan
Brie's POV:
I'm leaving. I'm leaving my hometown. My house. And my parents. But I suppose I should tell you a little about myself first. I'm about 5' 5" and I guess I'm skinny. I have burgundy hair and I'm 19 years old. I have street raced for as long as I can remember. I'm adopted and my "parents" are abusive. I have 3 "brothers" and 1 "sister". You may wonder why sister and brothers is in quotation marks. They're the children of my adoptive parents. My real parents died in a car accident. My real brothers name is Dominic but we call him Dom. And my real sister's name is Mia. I have Dom's number in case of emergency. And tonight I'm gonna call it. It's been 11 years since I've last seen Dom and Mia. I have a matte black 69 Charger. (you can google it. It basically looks almost exactly like Dom's car in the movies) I can't resist American muscle. Right no I'm packing my stuff. That is until my adoptive father came in. Oh god.
"Young lady do you know what time it is?" I stayed silent.
"ANSWER ME."
"6..."
"THATS RIGHT ITS SIX. YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HOME A 5"
"I-i'm sorry.. I got held up at work. It won't happen again." I said knowing if everything went as planned that I'd be gone.
"That's damn right it won't happen again" He took off his belt and started whipping me. He put the belt down and started hitting me and slapping me.
"Please Stop. P-please I-i'm begging you" I said whimpering. About 5 minutes later he stopped and left me there covered in scratches, bruises, and blood. I weakly stood up and finished packing. I came up with my plan. I was gonna call Dom and sneak out at about 3 AM. When everyone is asleep. I picked up my phone and dialed Dom's number.
"Hello...?" I heard a deep voice say.
"Dom?"
"Whose this?" He questioned.
"Dom this is Brie. Your sister."
"Brie? I thought you died."
"No Dom. I'm alive and I need help." I said with tears in my eyes. He thought I was dead? Why?
"Brie what's going on? Are you in trouble?"
"Kinda... I'll explain later. Dom I have to get out of here."
"Where are you?"
"It doesn't matter Dom I'm leaving at 3. I kinda need a place to go"
"Come here I'll text the adress"
"Thanks Dom"
"I'll see you soon Brie" We hung up.
-At 3-
I didn't sleep one minute. When i looked at the clock and it said 3 I got out of bed. I grabbed my bag and my keys. I walked out of my room quitely. I got into my car and rolled it out of the driveway. Luckily our driveway is a hill so I picked up some speed. Once I got away from the house I started my car. It's loud so I had to wait. I started driving to the address Dom sent me. I started driving to my new life.
A/N-PLEASE READ IT'S SHORT. So I'm not gonna do a lot of these since I don't even read them. When I do it's important!! Hope you enjoy!!
