━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ever since (m/n) was young, he knew he could never be a hero. his quirk was something that could never help him advance to the superhero world.

like every child who got their dreams crushed, he was sad. but, he pushed past it. there was no use in being sad over something he couldn't change.

so, instead of loathing the quirk he was born with, he used it to become successful in another path.

his quirk: poetic reality. he had the ability to put whatever he thought or felt into... a poem, basically. nothing too special.

however, since this attribute was his quirk, he was able to grow it into perfection. (m/n) passed literature with flying colors, and got into a college with a scholarship.

he was proud of his quirk. even if it's something he didn't want in the beginning. especially during his high school years.

he saw how UA had so many talented students with amazing quirks... he was envious. however, with that whole ordeal with chisaki...

he found reason to be tranquil.

currently, (m/n) was a successful writer of several books and poems. he made quite a living off of the words he put on paper.

he was currently on his way back home, just finishing with a meeting with his editor.

he sighed happily to himself, "i've got the rest of the day to myself.. should i go to the park?" he closed his eyes in thought. "or maybe i should go home and rest. i am feeling a bit tired..."

his thoughts were inturrupted when he bumped into someone. "oh–" he backed away quickly. "sorry! i wasn't paying attentio— oh." he stopped himself when he saw who he was standing in front of.

"don't worry, it's quite alright! luckily it was me and not some other stranger, yeah?" the blond hero spoke cheerfully.

blond hero. red cape, blue eyes, handsome body– it was lemillion. he bumped into lemillion.

"oh wow," (m/n) laughed nervously. "i didn't think i'd see you in person. ever. oh god, this is just—" he continued to ramble on nervous, getting himself nowhere. it was a first for him. the boy who always had a way with his words was suddenly— at a loss.

"oh, hi!!" suddenly a female popped up behind lemillion. "you have a fan– who looks close in age!! isn't that so cool!? what's your quirk? you look really cute!"

"neijre," lemillion whined, "we should just leave him be. we're on patrol, after all.."

"no!" (m/n) shouted quickly. "it's fine! i'm such a big fan of you both– and suneater! you three are amazing, especially you, lemillion.. i've written so many poems inspired by you—"

"hey!" lemillion snapped his fingers. "i thought you looked familiar..! (l/n) (m/n), right?"

'oh my god, he knows my name!!!!!!!!!'

the boy could only nod happily, his cheeks pink.

"your works are amazing, i've read all of them. i guess we're each others' biggest fans, huh?" lemillion laughed happily.

(m/n) laughed along with him. "yeah, i guess so.."

lemillion glanced to nejire, who walked off after she got uninterested in the conversation, before looking back to (m/n). "i'm sorry, i really have to go. but, please do visit me at my agency at any time. i'd love to see you again."

"wha– seriously!?" (m/n) shouted in disbelief, practically bouncing in his spot.

lemillion nodded. "of course! anyways– plus ultra!" he did some sort of salute before jogging over to nejire's side.

'i... cannot believe how lucky i am.'

(m/n) had gotten home that day and celebrated to such a good day. he was half-way done with publishing another book, and he got to meet one of his favorite people in the world. nothing could go wrong, at that point!

it took days for him to work up the courage to actually visit the blond at his agency. he put on some of his best clothes, double checking and triple checking his bag before leaving his house.

"ah..." he timidly walked into the building, smiling at the secretary. "i'm here to see.. lemillion?"

she stared at him for a moment. "what's your name?"

"oh, (l/n) (m/n)."

"ah.." she hummed, a small smile gracing her face. "he's been awaiting your arrival. third floor, last door to the left."

(m/n)'s flared. "o- okay. thank you.." he walked off to the elevator.

checking over his clothes one more time, he knocked on the door lightly. there was a quiet voice that told him to come in, so he did.

the blue-eyed boy looked up from his desk, glowing pleasantly. "you're here!.. come take a seat, c'mon," he held out a hand to a seat placed near his desk.

"you aren't busy, are you? i could come back another day if it isn't a good time now—"

"no, don't worry!" lemillion laughed. "i was going on break soon, anyways. lets talk, i'll call for me secretary to bring us something to eat."

the (h/c) haired boy nodded. "alright.. we can do that." he sat down.

it was a little awkward at first. (m/n) was intimidated by mirio's presence, and mirio saw that. so, he tried his hardest to reassure him and take his mind off the fact he was a hero. and, soon, it worked. they talked and laughed for hours on end without realizing. (m/n) even had the opportunity to show the blond his new work, which was nerve-wracking. though, it gave hin a total confident boost when mirio complimented each of the works in the book.

"ah, shoot," lemillion checked the time on his phone. "i'm so dead– i'm sorry, but i have to go now."

(m/n) smiled sadly, standing as lemillion did the same. they walked out of the room together. "don't worry, it's fine... thank you for allowing me to visit, lemillion."

"yeah, you can come over whenever! actually, here–" he took out a slip of paper from his pocket, putting it in (m/n)'s hands. the other male didn't fail to notice the pink hue on his cheeks.

"it's my number. you can text me, call me– anything. anytime. yeah..."

'did he write his number down beforehand..?'

(m/n) chuckled, "yeah, of course. talk to you later, lemill—"

"togata is fine. or, mirio. whatever you prefer..!" he grew more embarrassed. (m/n)'s never seen the hero so flustered before.

"right... talk to you later, togata," he smiled, walking into the elevator.

the blond kept his eyes on him until he was completely gone. his face then exploded red. "oh man– that was so much harder than expected..! i can't believe i actually did it..."
