"Thank you so much for getting to Daniel in time. If you guys hadn't gotten there when you did, he would've... Oh my god we would've lost are baby!" Danny's mom cried into her soon-to-be ex-husband's shoulder.
"Thank you Mrs. Holloway, but Riley is really the one you should thank. If she didn't call me, none of us wouldn't have went to your house to find him." I reminded her.
"And sorry about your door Mrs.H." Bennie apologized and she rested her hand on his arm and gave him a nod.
"Where is he?!" Riley busted through the double doors. When she saw us she trudged up to Danny's mom and they stared at each other, as if having a conversation through their eyes. Then, they embraced each other, sobbing on each other's shoulders.
"Oh thank God." I heard her mumble. I looked at her. I felt for her. I saw pure pain and worry in her eyes. She finally saw me standing there staring. She grabbed me and squeezed me hard.
"If you hadn't answered when you did, I can't imagine.." she started to choke up. "Thank you Sam. Really." I nodded.

"Baby, I don't care what happens or how hard things could get. Just promise me that you won't take the easy way out. Promise me you won't try to commit suicide."
