Now That I've Found You...

The alarm rang three times until I jumped up realizing I was late for school. Looking down at the arm now on my lap, I realized that we are late for school. I called his name trying to wake him up but he just wouldn't budge..

"Babe...Baaaaabe.. Benjamin!" He still didn't move! So, I plucked the tip of his nose and he just shot up.. I don't know how it works but heyy, he's up.

"We're late!" I explained to him while running into my bathroom. He followed after me and grabbed his toothbrush. He has a toothbrush, a drawer, a space in a closet, and of course a space in my bed. He even put his body wash and razor in my bathroom. I mean, its nothing to me because thats how it always was with us. Back in New York, our parents would get confused because the stuff just kept coming and going. Him and Alysha used to get into many arguments because my clothes were in his closet.. And you know of course she would be jealous.. he was and is in love with me. And I didn't even know. Sometimes I look at him and think 'all these years and I never thought, not even alittle, that he had feelings for me.' And here we are now- Jumping out of my bed and racing to his car. (gift from his dad by the way) I never thought this would've been my life.

Surprisingly, I got to our lunch table first. As I was waiting I had ordered my lunch and picked it up already. Wondering why no one is here yet, I looked around.. Jenn and Macey came in from the left double doors, and sat down with me. I was about to start a conversation, but out of nowhere I hear "Who You Love" By: John Mayer playing from the PA. And BAM. The three boys: Cyle, Cole and Bennie came strolling through the center double doors, each of them with one rose in their hand. I looked at Jenn and Macey as they were as surprised as I was. When they got up to the middle of the lunchroom, the three boys signaled for us to come to them. And when we did, Cole stepped on a table in front of Macey, Cyle stepped on the other table in front of Jenn and Bennie stood in the middle in front of me. Then in unison our guys, got down on one knee, looked at us and said:

"(NAME) will you be my date for homecoming?"

And then a quick minute passed and in unison we answered:

"Yes."

Which now that I think about it, was weird because even though the six of us were kind of sharing this moment together with the whole school in the cafeteria, for each couple, it felt like we were all alone. It was as if no one but us was there. My eyes were locked on one person. He just held onto my hand and then pulled me in for a kiss. When we pulled away, I noticed every one clapping and whistling. I was in such a trance that I forgot that they were all here.

I plopped onto his bed in my jammies..
"You didn't have to do all of that, you know. We were gonna go together regardless if you asked me or not.." I looked at him. His eyes were filled with mystery and mischief.

"I knew that," he said. "But I did catch you off-guard didn't I?" A small grin grew on his face.

"Yes. Yes you did." I gave him a kiss and fell asleep in his arms.

I know I know. "This chapter is BORING. *yawn*" I'm sorry this just a filler chapter 😔😪.. But don't worry.. The next chapter will be more interesting and intense!! 😋😏
