"Pass the popcorn!" Jenn yelled over the movie.

"Why are we watching this cheesy chick flick anyway? Can we go to an actual movie theater? They're showing that horror comedy 'The Machete Man' and plus we saw this like seven times already.." Cole began to complain.

"Because dum dum, Ben and Sam need to rest. They just came out of a coma for christ sake!" Maci irritatedly explained.

"That was a week ago! If they stay in here on this couch any longer they'll become dry and lifeless like a pair of unrefrigerated week old carrots." He then whined.

"Okay tell you what kid, when my leg and her arm recover and we take off these stupid casts, next week we can all drive up to Aqualand!" Bennie spoke with sarcastic enthusiasm to Cole as if he was alittle child. He then swiftly caught the cushion that Cole hit him with..

"SHHHH! Guys I can't hear Kandace choose between Jerry and Mathew!" Jenn scolded the boys as they threw the cushion back and forth.

The doorbell rang and as I was about to get it, Maci raced to the door.

"I got it!" She announced as she stumbled.

"Hey guys." It was Danny. After Riley left for New York, he's been distant, like not himself. On top of that, he's going through some tough times right now. It's like when Riley was here she kept everything in his life together and now that she's gone, he's falling apart. And I can't lie she is annoying, but she's a great friend, a faithful and supporting girlfriend and I miss her.

"How are you guys doing?" He asked Bennie and I referring to our recent 'accident'. We nodded. "Hey, sorry for not being around so much," He now turned to us all. "I'm just.. you know.. my parents are getting divorced, cousin Ron has cancer and I just.. I need my girl.. She hasn't spoken to me in.. three days.." He now looked down, hanging his head as if ashamed of showing signs of weakness.. He's very prideful yuh know..

"It's alright we're here for you man." Bennie comforted him.

"Yeah, and I'm sure Riley has a very good reason for not contacting you." I added, and right then the door bell rang and Maci ran to the door once again frantically..

"And she did!!" Maci announced while opening the door wide so everyone was able to see.

"Wow, gone for a couple weeks and you guys are already talking about me?" She confidently smirked. As soon as he heard her voice, his face litt up. He ran to the door and scooped her up in his arms. We haven't seen him this happy since the week before she told him she was leaving for New York. They laughed and kissed as we watched this like a movie. They finally separated and he walked her inside. We all greeted her filled with joy.

"Riley, how?" Jenn asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"Its still summer break so I just we down there to unpack my stuff and then stay with you guys for the rest of the summer! Surprise!!" She then explained.

"Well I see Danny's out his funk now." Cole observed. Danny excitedly nodded like a little kid on christmas day as he held Riley's waist from behind and kissed her neck.

"I know right! I bet he almost lost his mind not talking to me for three days.. I did that on purpose because he would've definitely found out." She smiled, silently applauding herself.

"Well why didn't you tell any of us?" Jenn looked puzzled and sarcastically hurt.

"You..." Danny turned to Maci. "You knew all this time. That has to be the only reason why you told me to come here!" He pulled a Sherlock Holmes on her.

"Other than the fact that we wanted to hang out with you.. yeah.. pretty much.." Maci answered.

"Oh gosh! Where are my manners?! How are you guys feeling?" Riley then looked at Bennie and I who were now laying on my couch. It's a pretty comfy couch. Bennie answered for us both.

"We're alright, the pain comes and goes but hey, at least we're alive." He spoke the exact words I was thinking. I really don't know how he does it.

"Wow.. I can't believe he would go to such lengths.. I mean you love someone so much that-" I cut her off before she could even finish.

"He doesn't love me. He NEVER loved me. He's obsessed with me. And now he's dead to me. There's a difference.. Excuse me.." I felt myself about to cry so I quickly walked to the bathroom. Why am I becoming so weak? Why is this bothering me? As I bawled in my palms, I could hear a hobbling sound nearing the door. I already knew who it was.

"Please don't come in." I pleaded. I didn't want him to see me stressing over this. But of course he made me let him in.

"I understand." He started. "You thought you were in.. love with him. He bullshitted." I started to cry more and he then sat on the floor, cast and all and I cried into his chest. "Hey.. Hey it's okay. You are allowed to cry. All that you've been through it was bound to happen. This just made you stronger and baby, your wiser.. to listen to good ole Benjamin when he has those bad vibes." he smirked and made me laugh. He always knows how to make me feel better, and he's definitely right. I've definitely grown as a person. It's just depressing to come to terms with the fact that I was so stupid. Stupid enough to believe in him, to believe I was in love with someone who turned out to be a psycho, he's been in my house... around my family... in my bed.. I can't believe I was contemplating giving him my virginity! All this time I've been blaming myself for bringing such a sick dangerous bastard into my circle and not being more wise... I was compelled by his charm. I should've listened..

We got up from the bathroom floor, he wiped my eyes and kissed both my forehead and lips. I helped him watch back to the couch because apparently, I didn't realize that he didn't come to the bathroom with his crutches.

"Oh Sam, I'm so stupid for what I said. I am soo sorry. I should've-" I cut her again preventing her from rambling.

"It's alright, I should've never gotten so worked up over it. I'm really glad you're here." I hugged her hard because it looked like she was about to burst into tears.

Oh one other thing, Riley is over emotional.
