.Harriet's P.O.V

I laughed as I fell back onto Sam's bed. We just had a tickle war, and now I am trying to figure out which one of us won, but I think I am deciding on a tie. I felt the bed move and something land next to me. I turned my head to see Sam, his face red, and his brown hair all over the place.

"It was a tie," we both muttered at the same time, causing us to laugh again and clutch our stomach, the laughter getting completely out of control. When we calmed down again I sighed rolling over into Sam's arms which he immediately wrapped around me. I snuggled into him, his brown eyes meeting mine.

"Guess what?" I sighed and looked up to Sam, tired as all hell,

"What?" Sam smiled,

"I love you... and we are going to the lounge." As those words left his mouth, he instantly picked me up and carried me out to the lounge and dumped me on the couch, making me laugh punch Sam lightly on the arm, because I was lacking any upper body strength.

"That was mean; you could have given me more warning!" Sam laughed putting a movie into the DVD player, and then jumping back over to the couch and sitting himself down next to me, but also half on top of me. I laughed and pushed him off me,

"Sam, you weigh too much." Sam laughed and got off me, pulling a blanket over us and cuddled into me. I sighed in comfort and relaxed into Sam, as the movie started. It was a romance I hadn't seen before, but I wasn't concentrating on it, I was too busy thinking about what Sam had said before, he said 'I love you' again. I still hadn't said it to him, scared he was playing me, my last boyfriend. He really hurt me, and it took me ages to be able to even be able to date Sam. But Sam says it all the time, and this time... I think he meant it, and I think I feel the same.

"Something bothering you?" I frowned and turned to Sam who was staring at me, a scared look on his face. I shook my head,

"No, nothing's wrong I just... was thinking." Sam bit his lip,

"Thinking about what?" I sighed and properly turned to Sam,

"You know how my last boyfriend hurt my heart really bad?" Sam nodded not getting where this was going,

"Well... I guess what I'm trying to say is, I love you." Sam froze a frown on his face. But it then soon changed into one of joy, and next thing I know, Sam was carrying me around his house in his arms while screaming out,

"SHE LOVES ME!" my toes curled at the wonderful feeling of being loved, and loving someone who wasn't my family, loving me back. After a whole hour of Sam running around the house with me in his arms, he decided it wasn't enough, and decided to run through the street screaming it. He had put me down by now so I wasn't getting thrown around. I smiled at Sam's antics as he came running back up to me.

"Having fun?" I asked him, he nodded and wrapped his arms around me again, and took me back into the house, sitting us down on the couch again, and watching the movie, which was half over and cheesy as hell, so Sam and I just ended up having an 'I love you' war, to see who could say it the most. All in all, best night of my life.
