Mask 01

"We need to hide! Move faster at the underground!" nanlalaki ang mga matang sigaw ko sa mga kasamahan naming mga estudyante sa loob ng silid

Nauna akong bumaba bago sumunod ang ilan pang mga classmate namin at nilock ito bago muling ilipat ang mabigat na lagayan ng libro sa gilid upang harangan ang pinto na dinaanan namin

"Huwag kayong magingay dahil baka lahat tayo ay kunin nila" pagwawarning ko naman sa kanila

Tiningnan lamang ako ni Caius, isa kong classmate na lalake. He's a transferee to our class last week. He looks like a half foreigner because of his face with a green field eyes, pierce nose, matangkad na parang pang basketball player and his athletic body. He's handsome at mas talo pa nito ang mga itsura ng ilang mga model na lalake but he's a serious type of a man, parang ang boring naman ng personality nito.

Lumapit ako ng kaunti sa kanyang likuran at pakunwaring siniko ang kanyang muscles

"Excuse me? What are you doing?" medyo naiilang na tanong nito sa akin.

"Oops sorry akala ko kasi statwa eh" nakapeace sign na saad ko bago lumayo ng kaunti sa kanya. Bumaba naman ang tingin ko sa ilang bahagi ng kanyang katawan at kinilatis ang mga muscle nya

"Sure ka bang safe tayo dito? Pakiramdam ko kasi dito pa ako marerape sa ginagawa mo" nakakunot noong tanong nito sa akin habang naiilang sa pagkakatitig ko sa kanya

Nginitian ko na lamang sya at inilabas ang dala kong sketch pad kung nasaan ang ilang naiguhit kong larawan ng mga naunang biktima.

"Ano namang gagawin ko sa mga yan?" wala sa sariling tanong nito

"Are you familiar with them?" pagiinterview ko sa kanya

"Yeah, they are the first victim from other schools, aren't they?"

"Buti naman updated ka" tugon ko sa kanya

"And?" iyon na lamang ang sinambit nito kaya inexplain ko na lamang sa kanya

"I found a pattern on when the incident happen and I just found out that it was happening every Friday! The kidnapping and even the killing of those inoccent student was during 9pm of Friday night" I said and he just nod like he's being amused of what I've explained to her

He cover my mouth with his palm when there's someone standing from above on the opposite of our place. I was shocked when another people went inside our room to look for other students but they dismayed when there's no one at the room.

We heard their footsteps away from us when one of our classmate create some noise that made those people with a mask stop to find where does that noise came from.

I'm holding my breath while my hand was shaking trying to make myself brave

"meeeooowww......meeooww" a black cat from the window got jumped over them which makes them even more dismayed

I'm so thankful of that little cat for saving us from our nearly death. We went out at that hidden room when we feel that it was safe outside the campus. We move slowly while holding each other's hand until we successfully reach the gate at the back of the campus.

I was about to go home when someone grab my hand at the corner of the guard house of school. Nilingon ko ito and it was Caius

"Before you go home let me ask you"

"Paano tayo nasangkot sa kidnapping cases na sinasabi mo awhile ago?" tanong nito

"Well base on the data that I had gathered, all of the missing students from other elite schools are all have a high intelligence and because we are the top student here in Abbas Las Cruces Academy na sa tingin ko ay tayo na ang next target of the kidnappers"
