Promise me.. Ch 38

~Noel's P.O.V.~

I have my black skirt on and blue cashmere sweater. This outfit is one Liam told me he always adored on my body. I wear my hair loosely curled and bangs pinned back the way he likes. I wore my black flats on my feet along with my lovely jewelry he had given me.

My wound is killing me but I'm really trying to ignore it to the best of my ability. Anyways it's 4 o'clock right now and Elliot is driving me down to San Diego.

Last night.. Elliot told me loved me again. He told me that our relationship is absolutely killing him but I really don't mean to! Then he told me.. He told me he kissed me in my sleep. And I was shocked.. But I ignored it.

But thankfully we solved all problems between us. And everything seems to be fine now.

So we're driving down the freeway with quiet a few of other cars. But things seem to be going by quiet quickly. I'm texting Julianna right now. And we talk about how exciting it is for me to finally see Liam again.

But soon I set my phone down when she says she has to go. I lean back in my seat and I sigh to myself.

I remember that I've got my bags in the back because once Liam and I are together tonight, we're heading to LA straight after the concert in their bus. Then we'll get on a plane to New York and.. We'll see from there..

I think of Liam when my eyes close. And I think of the ways he could make me feel. While I think of him, I think of what he said he'd do to me when he sees me again. And I get the chills down my spine and butterflies swarm around in my stomach.

But suddenly I feel a hand on my thigh and I open my eyes to see Elliot touching my leg, brushing his fingers over a small bruise that lay there. And I barely smile and stare at his profile.

But soon he removes his hand to return it back to the steering wheel. I recline my seat back a bit and turn my head to look at him.

"I'm going to take a nap. Wake me when we're about 10 minutes away please.." I say
"You got it.. Sleep well.." He smiled

I thank him and rest my body in a comfortable position and shut my eyes to dream.

Time is ticking and I'll be there soon..

~Julianna's P.O.V.~

Citlally, Avi and I are at my house right now. We're working on a project we decided to pair up together for. We would've included Noel in it too but she's going to be gone for a couple weeks and she completely understood anyways.

Last night was a bit sad.. Elliot called us over to his house for the first time in a very long time. He never calls us over to talk. So when we arrived all together at his front door, he opened it in tears.

He practically collapsed in our arms once the door was shut.

"Elliot what's the matter??" I ask
"It's not fair Julianna!" He shouted into a pillow
"What's not fair?? What's the matter??" Avi gets down next to him and we all do the same
"I love her! I still love her!" He screamed while he bawled terribly.

I looked up from him to meet the other two's eyes. And we all frowned because we knew he had been talking about Noel obviously.

"Elliot.. You need to let her go.." I whisper
"I can't! She's the only girl I've ever loved and now she's gone! Why?! Why does he get her?!" He questions
"Elliot it's been like a month now.. You need to move on from her.." Citlally quietly says
"How am I supposed to do that when I've been crying myself to sleep for the past four weeks constantly?! My heart is shattered!" He dies
"Please calm down" we quietly request.
