Promise me.. Ch 6

~Chapter 6~

~Elliot's P.O.V.~

Last thing I remember before closing my eyes for a nap was seeing Noel in the water. Now I was dreaming.. And I could tell.

You see, I'm that type of person that knows when they're in a dream or not. They're either too good to be true or terrifying... Or just straight up weird. Anyways since I know I'm dreaming I change up my dream.

I dreamt of Noel.. Again. Not that it was a bad thing but ever since we've been on this trip I've been dreaming of her.

I really like it out here in L.A.. I wonder if she would mind staying a lot longer here. I think she'd like it.

What Noel doesn't know is that the main reason I took her out to L.A. was because of an unexpected concert that was playing in an arena. Only very few people know about it so I wanted to take Noel for sure. So I bought our concert tickets ahead of time for on the floor. They were also on sale for the first buyers.

The heat was killing me and probably everyone around. For some reason I just didn't want to wake up.. Sleeping felt nice but I'd have to get up soon.

I opened my eyes for a quick second and picked up my phone. I checked the weather outside and saw that it was 106 degrees. The heat was unbelievable out here. I mean we've had heat around 102 before where we lived but it never felt anything like this.

I put my phone down and continued my small nap. Well it was more of a day dream.

~Noel's P.O.V.~

"Aha wait wait wait Liam!! Ahaha hold on, let me catch my breath!!" I was cracking up
"Aha okay okay fine!" He laughed

I walked out farther into the water catching my breath. I turned my head towards Liam to see that he had a giant smile spread across his face.

I faced back towards the water and sliced my hand right through the water. I felt a small wave of water hit the back of my legs and turned to see that Liam was right behind me, smirking.

"You know Liam.. I know it must sound weird but.. I feel so comfortable with you. Like.. I can do anything around you! Like I can tell you anything... It's so strange.." I remark
"No no I completely know what you mean. I feel the same around you too! It's really weird isn't it? Like.. I've known you my whole life!" He agreed

I smiled widely up at him while he chuckled down at me. His eyes were gorgeous. Big and brown... They reminded me of Elliot's.

"Aha you okay?" He asked
"Huh? Oh yea.. I'm fine!" I smiled

I faced back towards the ocean blushing a tad bit. I walked in a little farther and splashed my hand around.

Liam and I were having a splash fight before I had told him I needed a break from laughing. I slowly started backing away from the water and closer to the shore, just slow enough Liam wouldn't notice.

When Liam was caught off guard I quickly kicked a giant, thin wave of water right at him.

He turned around with a smirk on his face.

"Ooh-o-ohh.." He chuckled "you're getting it now.."

He then was about to kick water at me until I turned out of the water and ran. Backing up was part of that plan..

Liam was trailing right behind me laughing, trying to plan a way to splash me. I guess we ran so fast that we were already at our spot on the beach.

"Aha Liam stop! You're too fast!!" I shriek
"Aha I don't care Noel I'm getting you back!" He shouts.
