Promise me.. Ch 3

~Chapter 3~

~Noel's P.O.V.~

Finally! I get to see Liam in just a few minutes! Today was really fun with Elliot! And I really think that I chose a cute outfit to wear tonight!

I headed into the elevator and down into the lobby and outside. I'm pretty sure the sun was starting to set because of the colors in the sky. It was hot outside which I didn't mind because I enjoyed the heat.

I made my way down the sidewalk checking my phone but looking up to make sure I didn't run into anyone or anything.

There was a lot of people out tonight. I really hope this isn't going to be a problem for Liam. I'd hate for anyone to ruin our plans.

As I got farther down the sidewalk I saw why there was a lot of people. Down at the park there was a movie playing on a giant screen in the grass with tons of people scattered everywhere.

When I walked a little closer to the mall I saw not many people around. So they all must've been at the movie in the park.

I started making my way down to the mall when I got a call. I stopped by a big wall and leaned against it and took out my phone and answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey! Did you make it there yet?" It was Elliot.

"Yes Elliot I just got here. Why what's up?" I ask

"Oh I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I didn't want anyone to mess with you like those boys did." He explained.

"Oh.. Well no it's fine. I'm okay alright? I'm gonna call you later when I need you to come get me. Alright?"

"Alright. Bye!"

"Bye Elliot." I hung up the phone. I actually didn't need Elliot to come get me. But I'd rather walk with someone in the dark then alone you know?

The sky was in the process of turning a pretty orange at the moment. I started walking towards the ice cream parlor right next to Macy's. As soon as I went inside I heard a *ding* letting the employees know I was here.

A good looking man came out and greeted me.

"Hello! Welcome! Can I help you?" He asked.

"Oh no not yet I'm waiting for someone,"I reply with a smile "But thank you anyways."

"Okay no problem! I'll be back in a few minutes I need to take care of something in the back." He walked away into a small doorway.

I sat down at a table for a few minutes and checked my phone. 6:08. I wondered where Liam was but then just figured he was a few minutes behind.

To avoid my boredom I decided to play a game on my phone and check my social media. I heard a small squeal from outside and was startled. I turned my head to look out the glass window. The sky was a beautiful orange turning into a pretty pink.

Outside I saw two perky girls and a tall man. I squinted my eyes and noticed the guy was Liam. The girls were both super excited and asked to take a picture with him. So of course he did. He smiled and carried on walking towards the parlor while the two girls flipped out and skipped off somewhere shrieking.

I stood up and stepped half of my body out of the door smiling at Liam. He smiled back at me as I opened the door for him.

"Hi!" he says coming inside thanking me.

"Hey! I'm glad you came!" I smile and reply.

"Yea of course. Thanks for coming too. You look very lovely tonight." He says in his cute accent.
