Promise me.. Ch 9

~Chapter 9~

~Liam's P.O.V.~

She was standing in the doorway and our eyes met. Tears in hers and mine glossy.

"Liam.." She whispered

"Noel.. I-I'm sorry for not telling you I was coming but I couldn't sleep.. I needed to know why you were crying.." I quietly say..

"No no I'm glad you did.." She says

She slowly stepped out into the hall, silently closing the door behind her.

"So.. What's wrong? What happened?" I ask

"I-I don't know if I can say.." She choked up

"Noel please tell me.. I won't be able to rest until I know.." I begged

"Okay well.. I was having this horrible dream that.. You.. You.." She started crying

"Shhh shhh it's okay love.. Just tell me what happened.." I calmly say

"And you.." She whispered the rest to me, making me want to start crying too..

"Noel I would never.." My voice cracked

She wrapped her arms around me and began to sob in my arms. I hugged her back, wiping my eyes.

I took her head in my hands and wiped away her tears.

"It's okay... Don't cry.." I whispered

"Okay..." She whispered back, burying her face in my chest. I ran my fingers through my hair.. A tear fell from my face and onto her head..

She looked up and wiped my eyes..

"It's okay.. Don't cry.." She repeated.

I smiled a little bit

"Okay..." I repeated

There was a few minutes of silence, while trying to calm ourselves down.

"Well just to make you smile a little... We're wearing the same outfit.." I chuckled

"Ahaha we are.." She laughed quietly

She scratched her head and leaned against my body. I smiled and rubbed her back..

"Thank you Liam.." She stretched her arms around me

"You're welcome Noel.." I do the same

"And thank you so much for the room... It's great.." She smiled

"Aha you're welcome love.." I chuckled

We stayed out in the hall for about 10 minutes longer.

"Okay.. Well I'm going to let you sleep now.. You look tired.." I smile a little

"Okay.. Thank you Liam.. Goodnight.." She steps back into her room

"Goodnight Noel.." I smile

She shuts the door and I walk away down the hall. I reach my room and quietly shut the door. I crawl back into my bed and easily fall asleep..

It's okay.. Don't cry..

~Noel's P.O.V.~

I feel that now I could call Liam a close friend. I feel like I've known him forever.. He says he feels the same way too..

I walked into the bedroom and laid down. I pulled the sheets over my body and stared up at the ceiling.

I think I was calm now... I just hoped a dream like that would never happen again.
