Promise Me.. Ch 64

~Bruce's P.O.V.~

"Just answer my calls.."

I sit in front of a pool in a stretched out chair in my swim trunks with no shirt. My phone in my hand as I tried to call Noel but she wouldn't answer and I was worried. I wanted to talk to her, I missed her so much and I was supposed to fly home tomorrow. It was 8:00 here and the sun was just setting so the sky was a beautiful pink color.

I look down at my screen and take my sunglasses off my eyes as I begin to call her again. Suddenly a body sits down very close in front of me and I look up just to have my heart beat out of my chest.

"Noel!" I exclaim as she smiles.
"I'm here!"

She wore her white jeans rolled up, her white bra top and sandals which was a rare sight. Her hair wavy and her face absolutely gorgeous with her bright smile. She must've taken off her jacket and changed her shoes from earlier today. I lunged forward and wrapped my arms around her as she's locked around me.

"I missed you so much." She says into my ear.
"I missed you more, so so much more." I smile into her hair and hold her up against me. She lets her head rest on my shoulder and we hug for a while until we soon pull away from each other.

"You didn't tell me you were coming, you never answered any of my calls!" I say.
"I know, I'm sorry, I wanted to surprise you." She blushes a little and I was so overwhelmed with her beautiful presence.
"Gosh, I missed you.." I smile and hug her once more which makes her giggle. I depart from her and look over her face before glancing around.

"Where's Sean?" I ask and her eyebrows raise.
"Oh, he didn't come. I flew by myself." She answers.
"Oh.. Why?? That's not safe for you!" I tell her.
"Well look I'm here now! And I'm safe so it's all okay." She feels my bare chest and I look down at her hands and realize she's got bruises around her wrist under her bracelets.

"What's this..?" I ask and take her wrist in my hand to show her the green and purple bruises.
"Nothing.." She pulls it away carefully but I now see she's got them on both of her wrists.
"Noel.. What is this..?" I ask nervously and my heart begins to beat faster and harder. Her eyes fall to the chair we sat on and she's quiet for a moment.

"I have to tell you something.." She quietly says.
"What is it..?" I ask almost hesitantly because I didn't want to know what bad news she had but at the same time wanted to know what happened.

"Sean.. Sean- he.. Raped me.." She whispers the last part and my heart had exploded while my mind bursted into flames.

I clenched my fists and held my breath for a moment. I was worried that something like that would happen. I knew Sean was flirty and especially being a beautiful girl like she is, he was definitely going to pull something on her. But he was the only guard I knew personally and the only guard that was available.

She looked nervous and scared and I didn't know what to do. Just as much as I knew how to calm Noel down, she knew how to calm me down as well. The people around us filed out of the pool area to go watch the show at the cafe nearby. And now it was only Noel and I sitting in this large pool place on the chair and she reaches over to me. She holds my head in her hands and makes me look into her eyes as I breathe heavy now.

"It's okay Bruce.. I am okay.." She whispers, "you're supposed to be happy I'm here.. Please be happy that I'm here.."
"I am so happy you're here.." I hold her up against me as we embrace each other.

"I missed you." She tells me again.
"I missed you too." I kiss her forehead.
"So.." She slowly pulls away and sits upright in front of me,

"What are you going to show me first?" She smiles.
"I know what to show you tonight.. If you're ready, we can go now."
