Last part! Finally!!

And I have every intention of writing more one-shots in this Top Gear Lost AU, but they'll all be posted in the separate book I have for this four part fic (still titled CRASH!), rather than in here. I'm just posting this part in here as the first three parts are also in this.

Enjoy!

"Fuck it, I'm going to the beach." James sighs, getting up from his spot on the ground next to Bernard.

He doesn't want any part in what Ana Lucia has gotten herself into now for shooting that girl, so he's going to find his way to the beach where the rest of the plane's survivors are. To where Jeremy and Richard are.

"You can't go." Ana says.

"I don't give a fuck." James says. "This is your mess." He says, indicating to the Arab man tied to a tree. "Not mine, and I don't want any part of it. I just want to get back to Jeremy and Richard."

Although, there's the slight issue of that he has no idea how to get to the beach.... But he's sure that if he just keeps walking through the jungle, he'll eventually make it out onto the beach. And surely the beach isn't that far away from where they are right now.

However, considering his not so great sense of direction.... Regardless of... that, he's going to get to the beach and to Jeremy and Richard if it's the last thing he does.

"James-" Ana starts, but James is quick to cut her off.

"No. I don't give a fuck what you want me to do." He says. "I'm going to the beach where the rest of the survivors are. I need to get to Jeremy and Richard."

Honestly, he's starting to regret not going off with Mr. Eko when he had left, taking an unconscious Sawyer to the beach to the doctor. Then regretting it also for not going with Michael after Ana had told him to go to his camp and grab supplies for her.

"You're James?" The man Ana has tied to the tree asks. James thinks he heard Michael say his name is Sayid.

James looks down at him, nodding. "Yes."

Jeremy and Richard must've mentioned him to the other people they're with. Because honestly, he rather doubts it's from Top Gear he's being recognized from. The show isn't, or wasn't he should say at this point, that popular, and he had only been on the show in its current rendition for two years up until the plane had crashed.

God, it makes him wonder what the outside world is making of all of this, and how all his friends and family are coping. And Andy Wilman, their close friend and producer for Top Gear must be kicking himself for allowing him, Jeremy, and Richard to take a later flight to America after they had decided to take a short impromptu break in Australia after filming there had wrapped up. James can painfully imagine that Andy is probably wishing that he had somehow talked them into not staying back in Australia for a few more days, and instead caught the same flight to America with the rest of the crew for their next bit of filming.

And honestly, James is rather regretting his, Jeremy, and Richard's decision to stay in Australia for a few extra days. At least then they wouldn't be in this mess. But at the same time, he's also glad it was just the three of them that had stayed behind. It would be so much worse if every single member of their film crew were on the plane also.

"Jeremy's spoken about you." Sayid says. "Looks like he and Richard were right in believing you to still be alive. Even if they could never find you when they went out looking."
