Chapter-7

At the door

Naira opened the revealing Aryaman with a broad smile while naira frowned seeing him ...

Naira- what are you doing here

Aryaman- didn't you guys invite us for lunch

Naira- that was only for Mr. Malhotra and his son

Aryaman(dramatically)- I am very hurt

By that time Manik and Mahir had come

Manik- hello doctor (before Manik forwards the bouquet Aryaman pulled it from him)

Aryaman- beautiful flowers for the beautiful women

Naira- I suppose that was for Nandini

Aryaman- and why is that so

Naira- because ultimately you guys are here to meet her and she is the host for this lunch.

Manik nodded and all three entered inside ...while entering inside Mahir hid behind Manik therefore not visible to others

Naira introduced Manik and Aryaman for Harshad, cabir, and Nandini.

 When Nandini was introduced Aryaman forwarded the flowers to her

Nandini- thank you very much ...it is lovely

Aryaman- well that selection of flowers credit goes to the young Malhotra

Now everybody's eyes were on Mahir ...all noticed another flower bouquet in his hand but didn't question

Manik (bent to Mahir)- don't you want to give this flowers(Mahir nodded) then go-ahead

Mahir took baby steps towards Nandini ...Nandini had a different smile on her face .she was about bend but Harshad stopped her

Harshad- Nandini you are not supposed to bend down

Nandini just pouted, Harshad scoped Mahir in his arms...

Harshad- hey champ ...(Mahir did not reply anything so Harshad continued) this girl (pointing towards Nandini) never takes care of herself ..so when I carry you she will not bend down that's why ..you don't feel uncomfortable after you give that (bouquet) I will let you down

Mahir nodded and passed the flowers to Nandini

Nandini(not taking the bouquet)- Mahir tell me one thing(Mahir nodded) these flowers for me or the baby

With a small voice, Mahir replied 'baby' Nandini's smile widened ....then patting her stomach 'see baby Mahir brought you flowers' with that Nandini took the flowers from him and smelled it and with a beautiful smile ' it is really lovely' and kissed his cheeks

Manik did not know how to react to seeing his son in someone else's arms and 

Mahir not being uncomfortable 

Mahir buying flowers for the unborn child

Is this even possible? To bond with someone who is not born in this world?

As promised Harshad let Mahir down and Mahir rushed towards Manik ....Manik lifted him in his arms and asked ' are you okay' Mahir just nodded his head ... now Aryaman was sure that Nandini can actually help Mahir ...to lighten the atmosphere everyone settled down in the living room started initiating the conversation

Aryaman- so Nandini what do you do

Nandini(smiled) - I am a fashion designer by profession, managing director of NH fashion house
