Season 6, Episode 17- Push
Annabella's POV
"Cals, stop talking," I say as I looked at our patient's leg.
"Don't tell me to stop talking, Mark is going to sleep with Teddy and then throw her away like a toy," Callie replies annoyed.
"No, stop talking because her leg is white," I reply.
"What?" Callie exclaims and looks over.
"Damn it! Damn it, Damn it!" Callie yells annoyed as she tries to finish quickly.
"I'll open her leg up and try to restore blood flow," I say.
"It's too late," Callie says.
"No, look at the thigh," I say and she looks over.
"Restore that blood flow!" Callie yells.
"Ten-blade!" I ask as I move the drape properly and get ready to restore the blood flow to her leg.

Jackson's POV
"You have your girlfriend over every night or you're at hers, we don't get to hang out anymore," Charles says as we walk to the residents lounge.
"One, she's not my girlfriend," I day and he rolls his eyes.
"And two, did we, or did we not, hang out all of last night and get drunk?" I ask.
"But other than that," He defends.
"Just because you don't have a sex life doesn't mean you can judge me for having one," I reply rolling my eyes with a smirk and walk away from him.
I go to the residents lounge and get changed into my scrubs before going down to the pit and meeting up with Reed.
"You covering the pit as well?" she asked me.
"Yup, I dibs the first surgery in those doors," I say with a smirk.
"Fine, whatever," she replies as we both go off to check on little trauma that was really boring.
Absolutely no traumas came in but I was waiting. First trauma was mine.
Then I got paged.
YES!
TRAUMA!
I quickly got a gown on and a pair of gloves when Callie and Anna walked over to put on gowns and gloves.
"You got paged?" Anna asked.
"I already have a resident, I don't need 2," Callie says.
"I dibbed this trauma at 6am, this is my trauma," I reply as all 3 of us walk outside.
"Cals, let J learn ortho. Even though, he doesn't care about ortho," Anna replies as the ambulance pulls in.
Annabella's POV
"Kelly Hadley, 30 year old female with a penetrating wound to the right thigh, gone all the way through the bone and muscle tissue," Matthew, the paramedic said.
"Take her to trauma 1," Jackson yell as we take her to trauma 1.
We start prepping Kelly to be able to get her to the OR safely.

"Wanna pull it out Anna?" Callie asked me.
"Let Dr.Avery do it," I reply.
"You sure?" Callie asks.
"Belle, are you sure you don't want to?" Jackson asks.
"I've done this loads of times and I'll get to it loads of times. You won't," I reply with a smile underneath my mask.
***
"That was awesome," Jackson says as we walk towards the waiting room to update the family.
"Ortho's pretty cool, huh?" I say.
"You like ortho, Avery?" Callie asks.
"I guess, not gonna do it as a specialty though," he says.
"What are you gonna do?" Callie questions.
"I don't know, i'm narrowing the list down though," he replies.
Plastics, Fetal, Gynaecology and ENT
He's told me that multiple times.
We approached the waiting room and updated the family and took them to see Kelly.

I was sitting down with Jackson and Meredith and Christina was leaning on the nurse's station.
We were talking about the surgery Owen and Richard had done today.
"Waste," Meredith said.
"No, it's not a waste," Jackson said shocking us all.
"It's what my grandfather had in mind when he came up with the stupid thing. Find some way to keep surgeons motivated. Make them take it to the next level even if they're already at the top of their game. And that is exactly what it did today," Jackson said.
Christina nodded.
"This message was brought to you by the Harper Avery Foundation of America. Donations to the Foundation can be made at www." Christina started making Meredith laugh.
I tried not to laugh but couldn't help it.
"You're kind of a bitch, you know that?" Jackson said before leaving.
"What? It was inspiring!" Christina yelled after him.
***
"You ok?" I ask looking up from my book as Jackson walked over to the basement gurneys that we hung out at.
He lay his head on my lap, clearly upset.
"I'm sick of this, I'm so sick of this," he said as I put my book down and I gently stroke his hair.
"They all just expect me to tell my grandfather anything they do that is somewhat cool and they all treat me so differently now," he rants.
"Torres now suddenly cares what I do as a specialty and Bailey. The nominations for Harper Avery's have nothing to do with me. They look at papers not reports," He finishes.
Christina, Alex, Meredith and Lexie all walk over.
"Why's he here?" Christina asks sitting down.
"He's not that bad, he's actually pretty nice," Lexie says.
"And he's sitting right there," Meredith says.
Jackson's pager went off that second and he got up and left.
"You're stressing him out," I say looking mainly at Christina.
"What? From the Harper Avery comment? He knew that was a joke, right?" Christina asks.
"No, from talking all the time about his grandfather. From judging him based on his grandfather. From treating him differently," I explain.
"You really do like him," Alex jokes.
"Yeah, yeah I do. He's a great guy and he cares. He cares a lot about everyone, his patients, his family, his friends. He's do anything for them, even complete strangers," I finish.
Meredith gave me a warming smile.
"So you're together?" Lexie asks.
"Kind of, it's not official. But..." I start but I don't finish.
"Who knows?" Christina asks.
"Callie and Arizona" I reply.
"How'd they find out?" Alex asks.
"They saw him sneaking out when I lived with them," I reply.
"Uh, Mer also knew," I carried.
"What?" They all exclaimed.
"In their defence, they didn't tell me, I figured it out. He was upset and stressed because his granddad was here and everyone wanted to meet him. You all treated him differently and unfairly, and he did that, the head in lap thing. And I figured it out," Meredith says.
