Jackson's POV
I was walking to the residents lounge with Charles holding our regular coffees in our hands.
"So it's your 30th birthday and what? All you're gonna do is get drinks at Joe's?" I ask trying not to laugh.
"Ok then, give me a challenge and I'll do it," Charles said.
"Tell Reed how you feel," I smirk.
"You're just evil now," Charles scoffs.
"I'll give you 50 bucks if you do it," I say.
"Alright fine," He says annoyed.
"What service you on?" I ask.
"Hunt's, I don't wanna be on trauma," Charles said.
"I'll switch with you, I'm on Bailey's," I suggested.
"Cool, thanks man. You're the best," he said patting me on the back while walking off.
"Yeah, see ya!" I yell back at him.

Annabella's POV
I was with Cristina and Meredith and Meredith just told us that she was pregnant.
"Oh my god!" I said.
"Right," Mer said.
"Were you trying to get pregnant?" Cristina asks.
"No. Total accident. I used the thing," Mer said.
"Oh, so we're happy about this?" I ask.
"We are definitely happy," Mer said with a big smile.
"Ok then, congratulations," Cristina says as my pager goes off.
"Callie, got to go. Congratulations!" I yell back at Mer and Cristina as I walk off.

"And now we're going to Peds," I say.
"Yep!" Callie says.

"Lockdown?" I ask confused.
"You can't be stuck on a floor with me?" Arizona asked annoyed.
"No I cant," Callie replies.
I'm gonna kill them both.
Jackson's POV
We were operating on a GSW when Derek came into the OR.
"Avery, you got a second?" he asked so I walked over to the door.
"Has anybody checked their pagers?" he asked with a worried tone.
"No, we've been too busy," I replied.
"There's a shooter in the hospital," Derek said.
I froze.
**FLASHBACK**
I walked into the living room after school to see my mum sitting on the couch.
That's weird.
"Jackson, honey. Sit down with me," she said.
"Ok, what's going on?" I asked confused.
"Jackson. I'm sure you know how differently people like you and me are treated," she starts.
"Yeah, of course but." I cut her off.
"Don't talk. The police treat us differently. So, it's more likely we will get arrested and guns pulled in us. Now, I want you to listen to me very carefully. If someone holds a gun at you, you must stay calm, don't make any sudden movements, make sure they know what you're doing before you do it and do what they say. Don't show fear or any emotions at all. Put your hands where they can see them and make sure you come home safely. This is one of the most important things I will ever say to you so remember it," she finished.
**END OF FLASHBACK**
"Can you handle this?" Derek asked.
"Yes, sir," I say.
"All right," he said before he left and walked back over to the table.
I'm the only person in this room that knows. Therefore, it's my job to keep everyone safe.
Annabella's POV
We decided we were gonna move all the kids into the playroom as we were understaffed.
