Season 6, Episode 22- Shiny, Happy People

Annabella's POV

"Why exactly are we doing this?" I ask Meredith.

"We are supporting Derek as chief!" Meredith states.

"By having a party, alright then," I say sarcastically.

Jackson's POV

"I'm going in," Reed states.

Charles is gonna hate me.

Eh, it's fine. He can't do anything about it, she's a grown ass woman.

"No, you can't. It's inappropriate, this is the chief's house. Right, Jackson?" April says hoping for my help.

"No. Go ahead, girl. Get yours," I say to Reed with a smirk.

Reed walks over to Sloan and April stares at me.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" April exclaims.

"What? There's nothing wrong with it!" I defend.

"You ass!" April says before walking away.

Annabella's POV

I see Jackson talking to April so I walk over to them.

"You ass!" April says clearly annoyed, walking away just as I get to them.

"What was that about?" I ask as Jackson turns around.

"Nothing you have to worry about," Jackson says smirking while wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I would like to know why my boyfriend just got called an ass," I say as I wrap my arms around his neck.

"Reed wanted to fuck Sloan, April didn't want her to
and tried to get my support. But Reed can sleep with Sloan for all I care," He says.

"I can't tell whether your an horrible friend or a great friend," I say with a small laugh.

"Both, probably," Jackson replies before gently kissing me.

"You know, we could escape now. My room's just upstairs," I say smirking slightly.

"Oh yeah and let the whole damn hospital hear you moan my name," he replied as I hit his chest.

"You are a piece of work," I say.

"Your favourite one," he jokes.

"Mmh, my favourite one," I say as I kiss him again.

I walk down stairs and Mer looked up from the table.

"Jackson's here?" She asked with a small smirk.

"Shut up!" I say embarrassed.

"He's allowed to come down, he doesn't have to hide out. Tell him to come down and get breakfast rather than starving " Mer says.

"Ok," I pause.

"JACKS! MER SAYS YOU HAVE TO COME AND GET BREAKFAST!" I yell up.

"WHAT IS SHE? SOME MAD COMMANDER?" He yelled back before walking down the stairs.

Alex, Lexie and Derek all come down the stairs a few moments before him.

He stands behind me and wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my check and slowly moves down towards my neck.

"There are people watching, and you're shirtless kissing my neck," I whisper to him trying to hide my smile.

"mmh fine," he says putting his chin on my shoulder.

"what do you normally eat for breakfast," Derek asking turning to Jackson.

"uh, whatever Charles puts on the table," Jackson says hiding his face in my neck.

"So anything?" Derek asks.

"But nuts, I'm allergic to nuts," Jackson says.

"not many breakfasts include nuts," Derek says laughing slightly.

I was getting lunch with Lexie as Jackson likes to be able to hang out with his friends from Mercy West at lunch.

We walked over to Alex, Cristina and Meredith's table.

Alex starts asking Lexie to give him information on his patient.

"Stop it Alex! Lex is not a book you can flip through and she is not your puppet that does your bidding!" I snap.

Then Lexie says something about Reed sleeping with Mark. Definitely shouldn't mention Jackson told me.

Then Cristina says she's Thatcher or something, it was very weird.

Cristina and Lexie then hurry off leaving me and Mer very confused.

"What just happened?" I ask laughing looking at her.

"I don't know," Mer says laughing.

"So... you and Jackson seem happy," Meredith says looking at me.

"We are. We are happy," I say with a smile.

"Embrace it, happiness doesn't seem to last long here," Mer jokes.

Jackson's POV

"You slept with Sloan?" Charles yells angrily sitting down at our table.

"Dude!" I say.

"Told you it was inappropriate!" April says.

"So?" Reed says.

"You can't just... he's our boss!" Charles says.

We all know that's not why you're mad.

"I can sleep with whoever the hell I want, It's none of your business!" Reed snaps back at him.

"Maybe, let's all calm down a bit and leave each other alone," I say sick of this argument.

Charles and Reed both walk off in opposite directions.

Me and April just sat there.

I decided it was too depressing to sit there so I abandoned my food and walked off.

Annabella's POV

I paged Jackson to an on-call room because I had barley seen him that day.

"Hey babe," he said coming in.

"You ok? I've barley seen you all day," I say kissing him quickly as he lays down placing his head on my lap like normal.

"Charles and Reed have been making snarky comments at each other all day, it's been torturous!" he complained.

"Why? Cuz of Sloan?" I asked.

"Cuz Charles is hopelessly in love with her and she pretends like she doesn't know because she's in love with him and to try and get over it she sleeps with people which pisses him off, and..." Jackson rants but I cut him off by kissing him.

"You talk too much," I whisper before kissing him again.

"Way too much," I say against his lips.

"Mmh, no more talking," He said against my lips.

The kiss got deeper and he pulled me onto his lap leaning back onto the bed.
