The Blue Wolf

Chapter 1

Im Jasmine and my life is a living hell. My mom died when I was seven years old. I was so sad. I wouldn't crying for days. My dad took her death very hard and he became abusive and he would abuse me everyday.

One more thing. I live in a world full of wolves and vampires. I am a wolf and everyone has a wolf. Our wolf has a different mind to ours. They have their own emotions and own personality.  It like another person living inside of you but they only come once you turn sixteen.

On my sixteenth birthday my wolf never came. That made my dad more angry. I didn't know why my wolf never came and I dont know why I am so different. I waited and a few months later my wolf finally spoke to me. She sounded very confident and she felt strong and so did I.

Two years past and let me tell you it wasn't fun. My dad kept me in my roomand locked the door. He would always come in when he wanted to beat me up.

I decided I had enough. That night I broke my room window and ran away. As fast as my feet would take me. I didn't know where to go. I just kept running.

~Two days later~

Two days has passed and I kept going. Without food and water. Not like my dad would've give me that if I stayed.

The day went by so fast and I came across some water. I ran towards it and started drinking. I was so weak I couldn't even speak.

Then I felt a presence behind me. Before I could turned around it grabbed me.

"Who are you? What are you doing in my territory?"

I tried pulling back but he was too strong and I was too weak.

"Not talking huh. Your lucky the alpha is asleep. You will just have to settle in a cell till tomorrow."

I tried to escape but nothing worked. We got to a house and he took me down some stairs and threw me into a cell. I couldn't get up or react to anything. He locked the cell and walked away. I guess Im staying here tonight.

The next morning I woke up to loud footsteps. It sounded like three of them and it was getting louder. I crawled into a dark corner and curled myself up. They unlocked the cell and I got scared.

"Where is the rogue?" Someone asked. He had a deep voice.

They didn't see me in the corner cause the bed was blocking me. I stayed quiet hoping they would leave but they didn't. It was also a bit rude to call me a rogue.

"She was here. She couldn't have escaped cause the cell was locked." The other said.

"If she is here then where is she?"

One of them looked at the bed then walked towards me. He went down and looked at me in the eye.

"Hey there liitle lady. Looks like I found you."

He pulled me out from th corner and I faced three men. I was so scared I couldn't move.

"She looks young. Whats your name?" The one with the deep voice asked me. I didn't say anything and he said something to the other men.

"Where did you find her?"

I looked at the alpha and he had dark brown hair and emerald eyes. I could feel the power radiate off of him.

"I found her at the northen part of our territory alpha."

Alpha. I can't be here. I have been through enough pain already. I tried to get out but they stopped me. I didn't know what to do. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes. I think they heard me starting to cry cause the alpha came to me.

"Hey. We arent going to hurt you. Lets get you out of the cell." He took my hand and lead me out of the cell.

He took me to a room and it was beautiful. "You can stay here for now." Stay here.

It waa early and I was hungry. My stomach made a loud grumble and I felt embarrassed.

"You must be hungry. Come on. I will make you something to eat."

I followed him down to the kitchen and he made pancakes. When he gave it to me, I devoured it.

"Woah slow down."

I didn't listen. When I was done I went to sit on the big couch in the living room. The alpha sat opposite me and asked me some questions.

"So what is your name?" I started showing words in the air with my fingers hoping he would understand but I dont think he did.

"Ok hold on. Here write it down." He gave me a pen and note pad and I wrote down my name.

"Your name is Jasmine. Thats a nice name. Im Bane."

I smiled and wrote in my note pad.

Its nice to meet you.

He chuckled and we talked like that the whole day. It was fun but I didn't trust him.

Time went by and it was almost dark. Bane has been so nice for an alpha. "Can I ask you a question?" I nod my head and listened to him.

"Why dont you release  your scent?"

Release my scent. Wolves can choose to hide their scent or realise it. My father forced me to hide it and I never realised it.

I wrote down on the note pad and gave it to Bane.

Im scared my mate would hurt me the way I was hurt when I lived with my father.

Bane looked at me shocked and had anger in his eyes. "You know. No one will hurt you as long as Im here. You dont have to be scared." He reasured me.

I felt comfortable doing it but I had second thoughts. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and released  my scent. I opened my eyes and saw Bane sitting right next to me.

I looked at him wired and he said something I always hoped I wouldn't hear for a while.

"MATE!"

Wow. They are mates. How will Jasmine handle this since she is scared of almost everything.
