~Bane's pov~
After we shifted Jasmine ran towards the meadow I go for peace and quiet. She looked impressed by the view. I ran infront of hear then turned to her.
I tried signaling for her to follow me. I think she got it because she walked behind me.
I lead her to the tree and layed down. She tilted her head in confusion but we didn't complete the mate bond so I couldn't mindlink her.
She layed down next to me and a cuddled next to her.
She closed her eyes and she looked so peaceful. I stayed awake to protect her incase of rogues coming into my territory.
Time went by and the sun was setting. I nudged Jasmine to wake her up. She stood up and we began to walk back to the house.
We were almost there when Jasmine suddenly stopped in her tracks. I went to her side then sniffed the air. There was a rogue near by.
Jasmine and I both growled as the rogue came out of the forest. Its fur was a grey colour and very dirty. It growled at us the pounced on Jasmine.
Was wasn't used to fighting in her wolf form so I ran and helped her. I scratched the rogue in the eye and he ran away.
I turned to Jasmine and check if she wasn't hurt. We ran back to the house and shifted back.
I took my phone and called Lucas.
"I want all warriors looking for that rogue. It attacked me and Jasmine when we came back from our run."
I was angry. How did a rogue get past the guards or were they slacking around again? I asked myself.
Don't worry about that. Jasmine looks about shaken from that rogue attacking her.
I looked at Jasmine and Blade was right. She looked a bit scared. I went to her and comforted her.
A few hours later Jasmine fell asleep in my arms. I picked her up and took her to her room. I wanted to take her to my room but I wasn't sure if she would be happy.
I put her in her bed and went to my room. I got a call from Lucas. I didnt want to answer the phone but it might be about the rogue.
"Hello Lucas. Any news about the rogue?"
"No we didn't. He got away. We wiĺl double the guards so he wont get back in our territory. "
"Good. Talk tomorrow Lucas."
"Goodniggt alpha Bane."
I hung up then laid in my bed. I closed my eyes then I heard my door creak open. I look to see Jasmine in the doorway.
"Is something wrong princess?"
I ask. She still looked like she was sleep walking.
"I couldn't sleep."
She was definitely tired. She walked towards the bed and laid next to me.
"Did the guards find that rogue?"
"No princess. He got away. We will make sure he won't come back."
"Ok Bane. Aren't you tired?"
"Not really."
"Can I sleep here? Your bed is so much softer than mine."
"Sure princess."
She cuddled closer to me and fell asleep. She was so beautiful. Her breathing was easy and her hair was a mess. I then drifted off to sleep with my mate in my arms.
~The next morning~
I woke up and Jasmine was still sleeping. She was cuddled up against me and I just wanted ti keep her safe.
How about her mark her too.
No you horny dog.
Oh come on. When are we going to mark our mate?
Not now.
Blade was becoming more harder to control around Jasmine. I have to keep Blade under control. I closed my eyes and went to sleep.
