Ruikasa - Theater Kids to Boyfriends?

The Walk Home

"Nice job everyone!" Rui looked around the Wonder Stage. He sighed as he checked the time on his phone. "I would like to stay and talk about our performance, but it's getting late. We should return home."

"Alright. Emu and I will be off then." Nene smiled as she walked off with Emu. They lived in the same neighborhood, so they tended to walk together.

That left me and Rui.

"Tsukasa-kun." He chuckled and my heart rate went up. "You really have a knack for acting."

I smiled. "Haha, no suprise Rui~ I always am great at acting!" I tried to act how I naturally did. It was hard when I felt like I was suffocating.

"You are quite the confident one." Rui laughed as my anxiety peaked. What was happening to me? I never felt this way before!

My heart beat accelerated and I turned away from him. "Thank you, Rui." I felt my voice die out. I tried to smile at him but it felt - and probably looked - deformed.

"Tsukasa-kun, is something bothering you?" Rui stopped me from walking. "As a director, I know that stress can impact your performance. I don't want anyone getting worried." His voice was calm and gentle. It calmed me for a split second.

"Just a test. That's all." The answer was quick and sharp. I wanted to go to sleep.

"Alright. Just let me know if anything else comes up." And with that, we started walking again.

I snuck looks at Rui occasionally. He looked more handsome then I was willing to admit. He had beautiful hair, gorgeous golden eyes, and was the perfect height. He was the definition of beauty in my eyes.

"It appears we have arrived at your home." Rui said it as if he didn't me to leave. He probably must of realized that Saki was already at the door waiting for me, so there was no way to keep me around. "Farewell, Tsukasa-kun."

"Bye!" I waved as he began to walk away. "Geez, why do I love Rui so much?" I accidentally said it out loud. Even Rui heard! I slammed the door after he started to blush.
