"You what?!" You said shockingly
"What?" JJ said with a smirk on his face
"You know what!" You said hitting on the arm
"Oh? What I said? What about it?" JJ said
"Are you doing this to mess with me? Since you just found out I like you?" You questioned
"Please Y/n I've known you've liked me since 3rd grade." JJ replied
"How?!" You asked
"Cause you used to follow me around all the time and never leave me alone. Only a girl with a crush does that." JJ said jokingly
"You were practically my only friend before I met Sarah or Kie!" You said
"Yeah okay!" JJ said sarcastically
You stood there for a moment staring at each other. You couldn't help but smile at the boy in front of you even though he annoyed you so much. JJ had a smug look on his face knowing he was annoying you. You were still trying to comprehend what just happened but you couldn't believe your childhood crush just confessed his love for you.
"You know I got to go. I got work in the morning." JJ said jokingly
"Oh yeah work at my parents restaurant that you barely show up for and that your assistant manager at? That job?" You said sarcastically
"Hey that's not true I'm there practically all the time!" JJ said defending himself
"Whatever Maybank. Well then farewell!" You said waving him off like you were a queen
"Hey tryna get rid of me so fast?! Don't think so cupcake! Let me walk you home!" JJ proposed
"Fine! If you insist!" You said
You and JJ walked back to your house just talking about how work was gonna go tomorrow and if he'd actually show up.
"Alright well goodnight J! See ya tomorrow!" You yawned
"Sweet Dreams! Oh and I'm gonna make the ocean tell me your secrets!" JJ said
"What?!" You said
"I'm gonna know every secret!" JJ said
"Good luck getting them out of her!" You replied
"Her?" JJ asked
"The ocean dumbo!" You said
"Oh! Yeah well then never mind." JJ said
You went to walk in your house but noticed JJ wasn't leaving.
"Hey! Need a place to crash?" You asked
"Huh? Oh um yeah! If you don't mind." JJ said with a sweet smile on his face
