Chapter 12:

When you got to your spot you guys sat down in the sand, just listening to the waves.
"Y/n? Can I ask you something?" He said
"Yea! What's up?" You asked
"Would you want- actually never mind." He said
"JJ what's up? You can ask me anything. You know that." You told him
"Right. Okay um would you want to be my girlfriend like seriously no jokes." He said looking down at the sand
You were taken back by what he said.
"Um... J can you give me a moment alone?" You asked
"Oh yea sure." He said walking away
You walked down to the shore of the ocean and stood where the water could hit your feet.
"Ocean I have some exciting news! JJ Maybank finally asked me out! I think I'm gonna say yes." You said with a smile on your face
You stood there with a stupid smile on your face and thinking I can't believe this is finally happening. JJ walked towards you feeling that he's left you alone long enough.
"Hey." JJ said
"Hey." You said smiling
You guys stood in silence for a while. Then you pushed JJ into the water and he fell face first into a wave.
"WHAT THE HELL Y/N!" JJ yelled
"Remember how you wanted to ask the ocean who I was head over heels for?" You said
"Yea?" JJ said with a confused look on his face
"We'll I thought I'd help you out!" You told him
JJ walked out of the water and picked you up.
"JJ MAYBANK DONT YOU DARE!" You screamed
"Too late!" JJ smirked
JJ threw you into the water.
"So you gonna tell me who your head over heels for?" JJ said smiling
"Mhmm maybe. Let me ask the ocean what I should do!" You said
You dove into the ocean and tried to hold your breath as long as you could.
"Y/N? Y/N WHERE ARE YOU? Y/N!" JJ yelled
"BOO!" You screamed standing behind JJ
"JESUS Y/N!" JJ yelled
You started laughing so hard you thought you were going to die.
"Not funny. Anyway what did the ocean say?" He asked
"She said I could tell you. But I'd rather scream it into the ocean." You said
"Got for it! I'm all ears!" JJ said
"IM HEAD OVER HEELS FOR MY BOYFRIEND JJ MAYBANK!" You screamed
JJ looked at you with a stupid smile on his face as he walked over to you. He was just staring at you.
"JJ?" You asked
Then he grabbed you by the waist and dipped you into the water just a little bit then kissed you. Both of you tasting the salt from the ocean on each other's lips.
"I love you Y/n." JJ said smiling at you
"I love you too J." You said
"Can't wait till your Mrs. Maybank." JJ said with a smirk on his face
"Woah slow down there Maybank! You haven't even taken me on a date yet." You laughed
