Ocean||JJ Maybank X Reader

Chapter 10:

John B, Pope, Sarah, and Kie arrived at your parents restaurant where you and JJ worked.
"Hey guys!" You said
"Hey! Has JJ came in yet?" John B asked
"Um. Yeah he's over there!" You told them pointing to where he was.
"Thanks!" John B said
They walked over there and JJ looked confused.
"Why are you guys here?" JJ said as he cleaned the tables
"We're here to eat obviously JJ! Why don't ya take our order!" Kie said
They all sat down and JJ took their orders. After a while you closed down the restaurant so you could clean before you left.
"Hey do you need a ride home?" Topper asked you
"No I'm staying late to clean! Thanks for the offer though!" You said
"No problem!" Topper said as he left
"You guys gonna stay here forever?" You asked the pouges
"No we're waiting on JJ." John B said
You walked back into the kitchen where JJ was.
"Hey J they're waiting for you out there. You don't have to stay and help." You said with a smile
"No, I want to help. You can't do it all by yourself." He said
"Do you want me to tell them they can leave?" You asked
"Nah, let them suffer out there." JJ said
You laughed at what he said about them but you weren't gonna do that.
"Hey guys you can leave, JJ said he was gonna stay and help. My parents brought me my car since their going out of town , so I can drop him off at the Chateau when we're done." You told them
"Okay." They said and they left
You went back to helping JJ.
"JJ? Can we talk?" You asked him
"Sure. What do you want to talk about?" He asked giving you his undivided attention
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I don't like Topper in that way, yes he is one of my best friends but he's not the person I'm in love with." You said
"It's okay, I shouldn't have assumed you liked him. Does that mean your still in love with me?" He said
"I don't know you'll have to ask ocean." You shrugged
"Not this again!" JJ sighed
"Speaking of her, I haven't talked to her in a while." You said
"Let's go talk to her then!" JJ said
"JJ I told them I would take you back to the chateau." You said
"Ah screw them!" JJ laughed
"Your gonna be the death of me." You said
You guys drove to the beach and went to the secret spot.
"So ocean who is Y/N in love with?" JJ asked
"JJ isn't doesn't work like that. She's too good of a secret keeper." You told him
"Well I wanna know!" JJ said
"Not gonna happen!" You said
"We'll see about that!" JJ said as he took off running into the ocean
"JJ!" You yelled
You hadn't seen him come up yet and you started to get worried.
"JJ?" You yelled while walking into the ocean trying to find him
"Calm down I'm right here!" JJ laughed coming up out of the water
"NOT FUNNY!" You said as you hit him
"So you gonna tell me who your head over heels for?" JJ asked
"Nope!" You told him
"Oh well I bet it's still me anyways!" JJ said
"You wish Maybank!" You laughed
You guys walked back to your car and headed home.
