Ocean||JJ Maybank X Reader

Chapter 5:

You and JJ left work and headed to meet the other pouges at the beach. You were friends with Sarah and Kie since you all grew up together, but you've only ever met Pope and John B once. You got to the beach and JJ started running towards John B. You were slowly walking behind him.
"Y/n!!" Kie says as she runs to give you a hug
"Hi Kie!" You reply
You and Kie went and sat down next to Sarah who was across from JJ, John B, and Pope.
"It's nice to properly meet the future Mrs. Maybank over there!" John B says sarcastically
"I am not the future Mrs. Maybank!" You say as if you were offended
"That's not what JJ has been telling us." John B says
You glare at JJ and he smiles at you.
"Hey Sarah." You say
"Yea! What's up?!" She replies
"Do you know what Rafe's problem is? He's been acting weird." You tell her
"Oh yea... he um" Sarah says then she notices JJ looking to see if he can make out what she's saying over the loud music.
"Here follow me!" Sarah says as she takes your hand and brings you away from the loud music.
"Rafe is mad because he's been seeing you spend a lot of time with JJ." She sighs
"Why would he be mad about that?" You ask
"Because he likes you." Sarah says like she's been waiting to get that off her chest.
"Rafe Cameron likes me?" You say
She nods.
"No offense to Rafe but I would never date him after the way he's treated me all these years." You say
"That's what I told him but.." Sarah was cut off by JJ walking up to you guys."
"What are you ladies talking about?" He asks
"Nothing! Just girl talk!" Sarah says
"Well I'm gonna steal Y/n from you!" JJ says as he grabs your hand and drags you back to the music.
"JJ are you drunk already ?" You ask him
"No! I am not!" He says slurring his words a little bit
"Sure!" You say sarcastically
JJ starts to make you dance with him for the rest of the night until it gets to late and y'all head back home. This time JJ goes back to his house instead of yours.
