Chapter 9:

You get up the next day and get ready for the first day back to school. You walk into the kitchen so your mom can grab the annual "back to school" picture.
"We really have to do this every time?" You asked her
"Yes! Now smile!" She said
She took a bunch of pictures and you walked out the door and started walking to school. You got about a block until a car stoped next to you.
"Hey Y/n! Need a ride?" Topper said
"Uh sure." You said
You got into his car and he started driving again.
"You okay? He asked
"Not really but it's whatever." You told him
"No. What's up?" He asked
"Okay so JJ basically told me that me and him wouldn't be a thing because he knows i'm in love with someone else." You blurted
"Why would he think that?" He asked
"Cause me and you were dancing last night. He told that I look at you a certain way and he just knows." You said
"Oh. Y/n I'm not gonna lie, I do like you but I know you have a crush on JJ. If he thinks that then maybe he's dating that girl he was flirting with at the party." Topper said
"How'd you know about the girl?" You asked
"I saw you looking at them when you were getting a drink. You seemed hurt." He said
"I wasn't that hurt, I knew he was mad at me because I didn't tell him I dated Rafe." You said
"Oh well how do you think he found that out cause our friend group at the time swore not to tell anyone what had happened." He asked
"I don't know and I don't want to know." You said
You guys got to school and went about your school day. When you walked out of school you walked over to Sarah and Kie who were talking to the guys.
"Hey guys!" You said
"Y/n!" Sarah sings as she gives you a hug
"Jeez Sarah did you miss me?" You laughed
"Most definitely!" She said
"Hey Y/n?" Someone said from behind you
You turned around and saw Topper.
"Hey Top! What's up?" You said
"Do you need a ride to work?" He asked
"Uh yeah actually! Thank you." You said
You walked away with Topper and drove off.
"They would honestly make a really good couple!" Sarah said
"Sarah." John B said
"What?" Sarah said until she looked at JJ who looked a bit mad
"Oh." Sarah said
"It's fine guys! I let her go and I'll just have to deal with it! It was my choice!" JJ said
"JJ are you okay?" Kie asked him
"NO OBVIOUSLY IM NOT KIARA!" JJ screamed
"JJ calm down!" John B said
"I CANT JOHN B! I LET HER GO! I RUINED IT!" JJ screamed again
"JJ just talk to her man!" Pope said
"No no no no. I can't! I already let her go there's no getting her back." JJ said as he finally calmed down
"I'll see you guys later." He said and walked away
"Does he have anything else to do today?" Kie asked
"He has work right?" Pope said
"Oh no. He works with Y/n!" John B said
They hoped in John B's car and drove to your work place.
