Ocean||JJ Maybank X Reader

Chapter 4:

You wake up the next morning and realize that JJ is already gone. You figured he got up and went to go eat breakfast, so you went out to the kitchen to find him waiting for your parents to finish cooking.
"Hey!" JJ says with a smile
"Hi!" You say back to him
Your parents were cooking pancakes which were your favorite and they were also cooking sausage and eggs which were JJ's favorite. You looked at JJ and his face was still bruised but not as bad as it was last night.
"You okay?" You asked JJ
"Yea." He says with a soft smile
Your parents hand you your food and you guys ate then you went to go get ready for work since JJ was already ready. Then your mom stops you on your way to your room.
"Is he okay? I seen he was a little scuffed up." She says
"Yea we were just fooling around on the beach last night and he fell." You reply
"Are you sure?" She asks
"Yep!" You say with a smile
She walks away but you can tell that she'll ask you again later when JJ's not around, but that didn't matter cause you weren't gonna tell JJ's business. You get ready then grab JJ and head to work. You walked to the table you would be serving and you realized that it was Rafe, Topper, and Kelce.
"Hi guys! How are you guys today?" You try to say as happy as possible
"We're good Y/n. Thanks for asking!" Topper said
"Do y'all know what you want?" You ask
They tell you their orders and you get them back to the kitchen. You were waiting on other tables then you heard Rafe yelling and you walked over to their table where he was yelling at JJ.
"Do we have a problem here?" You ask
"Yea this pouge here thinks your his girlfriend!" Rafe yells
You look at JJ with a stern look and he looks at you with a apologetic look on his face.
"Rafe that's none of your business. Please stop yelling at my workers or you will be escorted out." You tell Rafe
"Wait a minute! You are his girlfriend!!" Rafe yells louder
"Rafe I'm gonna need you to leave." You say
"Your protecting this pouge? Rafe did nothing wrong!" Kelce adds in
"Kelce you can leave too if you love him so much." You reply
You have Rafe and Kelce escorted out and turn to Topper with a apologetic look.
"I'm sorry your friends with them." You say
"It's fine. They're not always like that, Rafe has been worked up all week for some reason." He shrugs
You and JJ finish up work which was a long day, but after you guys cleaned up you went to meet the other pouges.
