A cool breeze brushed against my cheek. It felt...strange. My eyes refused to open as if they were scared of what they would see. I tried to stretch my arms out but they were stuck in place. Something was holding them back. I wiggled my wrists and felt a rope-like material around them. I forced my eyes to open and found myself above a building, tied to some tower.

My breathing shortened as I started to panic. I was stuck on a very tall thing with nothing supporting me but ropes. I moved my head around for help but found no one nearby.

"Wait.." I breathed out, recognizing the building I was above. Oscorp.

I tried to find the knot on the rope by moving my fingers around. A bump hit my fingers, making me stop to find the loose end. Once I got ahold of it, I slowly began to pull it loose until my hands were free. The sudden release of pressure made me lose my balance and fall forward.

"Ah!" I yelled as I shot my hands up to hold onto the edge. My body dangled beneath me like a doll's. I tried to pull myself with my arms but I wasn't strong enough to. The cold started to numb my fingers, making it hard to hold on tightly.

"Peter!" I shouted for him, praying he'd come and save me like he always does, "Peter, please!"

One hand fell off, causing my other hand to slip off too. "No," I whispered as my fingers held on for as long as they could, "No, come on! Come on!" I grunted, reaching my free arm up for extra support. I can't go like this, or at all.

"Goddammit, someone help!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, feeling the last bit of my hand fall. Tears of fear flew out of my eyes as I fell downward toward thick concrete. I covered my face frantically, not wanting to see what happens.

"Gotcha!" Mr. Stacy called out as he caught me in his arms, stumbling a bit at the impact. He carefully placed me on my feet, holding my arms to steady me. My mouth was still hanging open from the adrenaline. I stared at him in disbelief, incredibly grateful he was here.

"Mr. Stacy- Thank you!" I jumped into his arms, letting a cry slip out. He comfortingly placed a hand on my head before pulling away. He reached into his holster, taking out a pistol.

"I don't know what a fall like that could've done to you, but I'm happy I came here as fast as I could. Take this." He tossed me the gun as if I've held one before.

I shook the numbness of my legs off before following Mr. Stacy, who was also armed.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as he pulled me under the stairs. He pulled out a clear bottle with blue liquid inside. I took it from him, admiring the substance.

"Wait, is this-"

"The serum."

"Hold on. Did he tell you?" I asked, just now realizing how much he knows now.

"Peter told me everything. Including the fact that you let Gwen wander in here on her own." He accused, making me feel guilty even if that wasn't my call.

"About that-" I began before he covered my mouth to quickly shut me up. He silently pointed up toward the sky. I followed his eyes and found the Lizard crawling up the satellite tower with the green serum.

A quiet click was heard as he inserted the serum into some machine attached to the tower. Before I could say something, a red-figure came pouncing from behind him, catching him off-guard. They both came spiraling down, making me shrink away to avoid being seen. I let out a scream as Peter tumbled off the building. Mr. Stacy held me down as I tried to get up.

"You need to trust him." He spoke calmly, shocking me a bit.

The Lizard got ahold of a hose with liquid nitrogen. He attempted to shoot Peter but missed, giving him the chance to shoot a bullet of webs onto Connors' face. He kicked his chest, causing him to fling backward.
