Aomi. The Capital Island of the Demon Empire. Guards stood poised at the entrance to the Demon King's chambers. The Royal Guards continued chattering with each other. It was minutes later when they realized there was a figure standing in front of them. A masked figure. A Demon. It was Raiknos. "It can't be, you are dead!" one of the Guards wearily muttered. Raiknos swung his sword right through the chest of the other guard, and then said, "Am I still dead?". The Guard fearfully opened the door to the Demon King's chamber. "Ahh, Raiknos, I was hearing rumors of your death, but it seems once again, you have prevailed." The shadowy leader rasped on his throne. The Demon King was dressed in a black cloak, with fraily, bony fingers, and his face was hidden by a hood. "Let's discuss your failure, Raiknos." the Demon King threatened. "My failure? You were the one who decided to hire some boy from the Venom Springs. I never liked him in the first place." Raiknos taunted back. "Perhaps you are right, it is not completely your fault. But, you are the only one alive for me to let out my anger on. But I want to know how a gang of misfits fought an entire squadron of Shadows, and you! A Demon!."

"Tepan, he finally showed his face, but I finished him, but he had an apprentice." Raiknos growled. "This apprentice.... He will be a problem for us." The Demon King agreed in unison. "I need you to go to fetch some slaves from Suna Reef. And deliver them to the Shogun in Hizuka. We will talk more when you return." the King hoarsed, before an eye-patched man walked into the chambers. "Who are you?" Raiknos asked, shockingly. "He's uh, my health, yeah health advisor" the Demon King lied. Raiknos knew the King was hiding something from him. What kind of health advisor has an eye-patch and scars on his face? Raiknos thought to himself. Secrets within more secrets..... When shall they be revealed? He readied his boat, the Paradox for the sea, as he would sail to Hizuka to meet the Shogun. Then he would reach Suna Reef. There was something the King didn't know either, something personal that Raiknos had to do in Hizuka....
