Anger. It burned in Peleg's mind. It was all he thought about. He watched the dark sea and looked to the small crescent moon of light that shimmered. Anger was why Raiknos became what he was. Peleg had to let go, or else he would repeat the same dark path as many before. He was the last hope. He had to become a full Mage, with or without help. The Mages were gone, like the dark sea. But, Peleg, he was that crescent moon, a reminder of the sun and the day, the return of the Mages. Tepan was supposed to be the last hope, straw for the Revolutionaries. He had to take Tepan's role now. The Dandy Bow drifted across the sea. For all they knew, the Demons were on their trail and closely following them to the Verline Isles. Bishan walked into Peleg's cabin, and quietly began to speak, ¨I knew many Mages when they ruled these glorious lands... It was after that I took on the welfare of being a pirate. Randell and I.... we aren't exactly friends of the Demons. Even after our little deal with you and the incident with Silver-Hook, we decided to well..... Join and help you. I think a pirate's life is over me at least¨. Peleg did not speak back, even though he was quite thrilled about the news. It had been a long couple of days. He was the son of a Mage. The only other mages he knew were either Raiknos, the demon bastard, and Tepan, dead. Could he really control his power on his own and confront Raiknos....? What Peleg really needed was sleep, as he began to drift off into the corridors of his mind as soon as Bishan left the room.
Peleg woke up with a fresh start. He felt the cool breeze of the bay gulf towards the Verline Isles whose beauty could be viewed from the open, sunny, windows of the Dandy Bow. Peleg, who had not left his room for nearly a day, finally retired from his cabin. "Good Morning, Peleg!" Randell said in the hallways as he climbed up to the upper deck to fetch his morning meal. Peleg and Randell walked onto the deck. Bishan, Nova, Louie and Eutha were already awake. "So what is it exactly we do when we reach the Verline Isles?" Peleg asked.
"We need to get the Revolutionaries to attack and defend from the Demons. They are targeting the Isles." Eutha spoke
Peleg nodded in understanding.
They reached the shores of the Isles within an hour or two.
Hundreds of people stood there waving. There was excited murmur among the men and women, although some goblins and the skeleton-like people, kujira. Some were blacksmiths, other sailors, others warriors. "Silence!" Eutha announced loudly. Randell, Bishan and Peleg were dumbstruck. Her voice echoed louder than anyone else they had heard. She was definitely a natural leader. "Since I have been gone, many strange things have happened. My father will be here soon, and I will tell you what I am telling you. The Demons have figured out where we are. They will be launching an attack on the Isles soon. We must be ready. For blood, for vengeance, for justice! For those who fell fighting for us or against us. Their fallen corpses have contributed to our mission, a free world!" she exclaimed. Even Peleg felt enlightened by her words. The hundreds of beings, from across the world. United against one threat. One real villain, that was Raiknos. Peleg had decided then, that he would rid the world of a great evil, Raiknos.
