Chapter 19- The Wolnechite

Peleg had gotten little to no rest since he left off in the Dandy Bow. Eutha's little escapades had left anxiety to not only him, but everyone else at White Tiger. The spies of the Revolutionaries had reported of a mustering fleet headed towards their island. They needed to relocate and choose a new base. It was too close to the former base and the Shrine. The boats were being readied for any surprise attack that might occur. Peleg had not progressed in his skills since Tepan's passing. He had somewhat accepted it, however, while his swordsmanship skills excelled, his magic was at the most basic level. The easiest of the easiest spells were what he was conjuring. Magic wasn't simple though. Each spell requires a certain amount of energy within ourselves called Chakra. If the spell requires more chakra than you have in your body, you could get injured, or worse, die. He needed guidance from someone, and then still had no idea what the voice that guided him at the Shrine was. He suspended a book into the air for a couple of minutes, before becoming tired and dropped it back down. His frustration was making him waste his energy. Before he knew Eutha barged into his little hut. Peleg sighed, "What is it now?". "I think you should come find out for yourself. It has to do with the Mages". Peleg was slightly surprised that this was not another cleanup job he had to do for the Revolutionaries. Mages were peacekeepers of knowledge and wisdom, not warbringers. Eutha led Peleg to the Generals' meeting room where Ilta, Damjan and Lasira all stood. Damjan was in his serious gloomy mood as ever. Ilta seemed to be overwhelmed by her newfound powers, and Lasira... well she was expressionless. "We have asked you here, Peleg. Because we have found information that may interest you. An ambassador working for the Demons is picking up some shipment in Suna Reef, which is one of the Demon's largest weapon supplying places. We want you to go there, in addition, many captured slaves at are at the base as they are forced to forge the javelins and spears" Ilta explained. "What does this have to do with me?", Peleg asked, disappointed. "Mmm... Have you heard of the Wolnechite?" Lasira asked. "Only in tales¨, Peleg said recalling a tale that Tepan had told him of. Oduxium the Sword-Maker was the first mage to wield a sword. The ancient Paladins before would wield swords. During the conflict between the Paladins and the Mages, they were forced to create their own swords. But Mage swords could not be made of regular metal. They had to be made of Kothian. Kothian was such a strong substance that it could not be forged in pure form and had to be mixed with another substance like steel or silver. However, Oduxium forged the first sword out of pure Kothian, reflecting his legendary sword making abilities. The sword was known as Wolnechite, which Lasira was referring to. "Well, the reason the ambassador is coming to Suna Reef is that Rui, the Weapons Manager, has found the Wolnechite. In fact, Governor Zaccheus' entire fleet is stationed there, so it must be important". Eutha thought to herself That's why Zaccheus didn't go after us. "Well, I can't go alone if there is that big of a fleet there", Peleg dismissed. "That's why I'm here" Jeroboam loudly boomed as he walked in with five other sailors, one of whom Peleg identified as Orson. "We are the Blackguard Crew. An elite group of sailors. The best of the best in the Revolutionaries''. Peleg smiled. "I'll agree. But what of Bishan and Randell?". Damjan broke his silence, "I have sent them on a different mission". "Oh and also I will be coming along '', Eutha chuckled.

Readily, and soon enough, the six boats were off into the sea, heading to Suna Reef, unaware of what exactly they were about to encounter.
