Chapter 26- Master and Apprentice
The Demon King remained with his mysterious hood, shrouded and cackled in a dark alleyway, "Poor Raiknos. He doesn't even know a little of it. Does he think that he can go behind my back and assemble an army?". Stan, the Royal Prophet and two Shadows stood in the dark room. There seemed to be many trinkets and magical items there. Raiknos stormed in, "Hades, you will have to explain yourself!", as he brought a force of a hundred or so skeletons. "What happened to manners, directly to 'Hades' eh?" the King threatened. "For fifteen years you hid the secret that my son was alive from me and the rest of the world. And now this, my 'replacements'?" Raiknos demanded. "Your rebirth is revolutionary. The way I resurrected you from the dead, when Tepan killed you, is the key to using magic to keep yourself immortal", Hades explained. "Did your master's death not teach you otherwise?" Raiknos asked, threateningly. "That story I told you fifteen years ago was a lie. I killed my master in his sleep. No one, nothing has been immortal, but magic itself. Think about it, if we could never die, and find eternal happiness", Hades explained, "Defeat Stan and his puppets, and then you will reclaim yourself as the most powerful being in the world, or will you succumb to these proxies of yourself?". Raiknos slashed his red sword, swung it outwards, as he uttered a single word, "Aag", and lit the sword on fire. Soon his entire body was lit on fire and swung his sword of vengeance, destroying Stan and his Shadows. Next was the Demon King. Raiknos swung his fiery weapon to be clanged by Hades' purple staff. The Lightning and Fire from the respective weapons let out a loud clang leaving blood stains and the scarred walls and breaking walls of the chamber. Hades let out himself as giant, "Remember who you are. I am a god, and you are an ant. I am a giant, but you are a petty mortal. I am a master. And you, apprentice". Shadows stormed from each side of the chambers and charged towards the legions of skeletons as Raiknos fought against Hades. Hades then slashed through Raiknos in the chest, leading him to fall. The Shadows annihilated the few skeletons that Raiknos commanded. Then slowly Hades ripped off each organ from Raiknos' body, one by one, as he screamed in agony, "You need to relieve the pain to become a true demon. Let it fuel you. You are the anger", Hades cackled as he tortured Raiknos. "Soon we will all reach eternal happiness. Once, that boy, Peleg, was in my hands. He is the chosen one of the Demons. He will bring upon a new era. Where I am supreme".... TO BE CONTINUED..... in.....
