Chapter 16

It's been a week since i haven't seen him.

"Y/n. Dear. I need to talk to you." She said while i stared at my food.

"..Why mom?"

"I saw this.." She took out a paper that caught my attention. It was Sanzu on a wanted poster.

"..Wanted for Murder and illegal drugs. Isn't this your boyfriend?" Just listening to her tone. I know she's serious.

"No. He will never do that. You know him Mom. right?" I sighed.

"Yes dear i know him, but not that well. I don't want my daughter hanging out with a wanted man who's being accused on using illegal drugs" 

"He can never do that."

"Y/n. Listen to me. Woman to woman. If i tell you that your father is a murderer. How will you react?"

"Why are you bringing dad into this?
He's dead"

"I didn't raise you just to be with someone who'll ruin your future! I have high expectations for you sweetie. Please listen to me. He's lying to you"

"That poster is lying. He can never do something like that!"

"Alright. You want to play this game huh? It's either you stay away from him or we'll continue our life far away from him."

My eyes widened and dropped my utensils.

I don't want to be away from him. What is this.. What is happening..

"No! Fine! I'll stay away from him!"

"Good! Because i don't want someone like him walking around my house! Think straight Y/n! In the end he'll just use you!"

"What do you know mom?! I agreed with you! Yes! I'll stay away from him! So can you please shut the fuck up!"

Her eyes widened. Watching her own daughter walk away from her. Leaving her alone on the dinner table.

Lightning strikes, thunder and the sound of her door close was the only thing she can hear. She quickly went up following her.

"Oh. I didn't know you were this disrespectful now!" She locked my door without a warning.

"If this is what you want. I'll give it. You'll never see him again"

She gripped on the paper with Sanzu's face and grabbed her car keys. She's planning to report him to the police.

I went to my room, slamming the door shut and hit all the things i can see. The things from my drawer started to fly around and so as the papers on my table.

Crying while taking all my clothes off my closet and so as his. Throwing them all out as i scream my lungs out.

"Fuck!! Fuck it!!"

I heard my mom's car and i immediately went to grab my phone, contacting Sanzu so i can tell him to hide.

"Yes my baby?" He said in a drunk tone.

"Haru..Please! Hide! My mom! She saw the posters! She'll report you to the police. She also wants me to stay away from you..and i don't want that.." I sobbed.

"I see I see..I'm in our hideout baby. With my boys and we're having fun."

"Haru?! Are you even listening."

"Oh shit. Yeah! Yes baby..I'll hide. Stay there. I'll try to sneak in later"

"Haru you cant..She got me locked up in here. She doesn't want me to be with you anymore. You lost her trust."

"I see..Looks like we'll have to do the illegal way just to see eachother"

"I'll do it! I'll do it Sanzu! Just please let me be with you!"

He chuckled and ended the call. I looked at my window and packed my things.

I texted him "Haru i'll wait for you in the playground. I'm planning to runaway"

I waited for him.

But he never came.

I was standing there, crying as the rain poured against me.I shook my head to someone who has an umbrella and handed it to me.

"Take this miss. You'll get sick."

"No thank you..I'm waiting for someone"

"Looks like he won't be here. Take it. It's dangerous out here."

I thanked him and held on the umbrella. Then i gave up. He'll never come.

I got home and saw my mom crying on the table, with a bunch of papers on the table.

"Mom.." I dropped my bag, before i bursted into tears.

She looked at me as she wiped her tears and opened her arms which i immediately took and hugged her like a child.

"You came back..." She rubbed my back.

"I'm sorry mom..Please forgive me." She chuckled as she cries.

"I thought you left me. Of course i forgive you. All i want is what's best for you. I'm your mother."

"I just...wanna know..why he did that. He promised that he'll never do that."

"Promises are meant to be broken. Both of you loved each other. But he chose his path and now it's time for you. To choose yours"

"Promise i'll never do that. I wouldn't do anything that can hurt you."
