My brain keeps replaying our memories
The conversations we have had
The times we have had
When I close my eyes
All I see is your face

I can see where it all took place
I can’t seem to sleep
Because my brain won’t let me forget you
It won’t let me move on past you
I keep gripping the past
Just hoping it would last
After forever of you not speaking to me
You send me that break up text
We went from the couple everyone knew about
To forever Ex’s
But I can’t seem to sleep
Your still on mind
Your smile, laugh, the way you held me close
Now all that’s left is memories
That day if I was still there
Would you have done what you did?
Would you have ended us like that?
Did you even enjoy your time with me
Before you ran over me for the next?
You may have forgotten about me, about the times we have had, the hours we have talked, the things we had planned
But I have not forgotten about any of it
