Karry coughed awkwardly while Roy scratched his neck in embarrassment. Jackson looked flustered as he glanced at the two older guys.

Karry noticed Jackson's stare and he hissed quietly, "What?"

"Say something." Jackson hissed back.

"Well what am I supposed to say? 'Oh yes I am your master, bow down to me.' ?" Karry muttered.

Roy rolled his eyes at his two companion as he cleared his throat on purpose, "Um Kang Wen. Why are they calling us masters and Jackson a prince?"

Kang Wen mentally face palmed as she grabbed her father's arm.

"Daddy..." She whispered quietly, her voice laced with venom.

"They do not know anything." She groaned quietly.

"What?!" Her dad exclaimed loudly.

Then in a much softer voice, he mumbled, "But they are supposed to return with memories."

"I know. But here they are. Do something, dad." Kang Wen sighed as she stood up straighter and walked down the remaining steps.

Kang Wen's dad regained his composure and followed his daughter down the stairs.

He cleared his throat, to get the attention of the three boys, though there was no need to do so because he already had all the attention he could've ever wanted.

"I am Kang Zhen. Father to Kang Wen." He introduced himself.

Then he continued, "Boys. Do you know of the Royal Family?"

"Um duh! They're the Royal Family!" Roy blurted out.

Kang Zhen nodded and raised a finger to gesture the boys to follow him, "Follow me. Meanwhile, Alex, go fix our guest something to eat, please."

"Yes sir!" Alex saluted with a huge grin and ran off.

Kang Zhen rolled his eyes, despite the serious situation.

"Do you remember this room?"

Kang Zhen had led the three boys and Kang Wen into a.... Nursery room?

It was filled with toys and children's books and had this colorful background as the wallpaper.

"Um...why would we remember it? We've never been here before." Jackson said, in confusion.

Kang Zhen sighed and looked deep into the eyes of the three boys, "No. That's where you're wrong."

Gesturing to the whole room with his arms open wide, he said, "Welcome to the place you grew up in, Prince Jackson."

Jackson stared at him blankly as he crossed his arms over his chest, "Stop calling me a prince. I'm not royalty."

Kang Wen sighed from behind them and stood forward, "No. You are royalty. Karry and Roy grew up with you as playmates. So did I."

Karry and Roy's eyes widened simultaneously as they said, "Jackson's a prince?? We grew up with you?"

Kang Wen nodded as Jackson, being the most confused here said, "But, my parents are with me, living a normal life. They never mentioned anything about royalty. Janice, explain!"

Kang Wen gaped at him, "How.. Did you know I'm called Janice?"

Jackson said, "I don't know. I figured that part out."

Kang Zhen said, "The parents you are living with now are not your biological parents. Your real parents died in a car crash. At that time, you were only 8. Rebels were...uh...rebelling. And somehow planned all that car crash. You were the only one who survived, Prince Jackson."

"But you woke up to amnesia. You forgot everything. So we sent two palace workers, your parents right now, to take care of you, to raise you as their own."

"What about us? Why did we forget?" Karry spoke up after being quiet for a long time.

Kang Zhen coughed at the question and scratched his neck, "We had...some sort of help from...a witch."

"WHAT THE-WITCHES DONT EXIST!!" Roy blurted loudly.

Kang Wen nodded solemnly, "I'm afraid they exist, Roy."

Kang Zhen nodded, "We had her put a memory spell on you both, Master Roy and Master Karry. So that you can accompany Prince Jackson and grow up with him peacefully without knowing anything. Without the pressure."

"Then why are you telling us all this now?" Jackson asked.

"Because our country is at stake. We need your help. To save this country."

"From what?" Karry asked.

"From mystical creatures."
