Karry and Roy were around Jackson all the time, in case the Dark Knights strikes out of nowhere.

Jackson were getting annoyed with their protective antics.

"Guys. Seriously. I can take care of myself!" Jackson sighed.

"No you can't. You're the youngest of us all, so we have to protect you!" Roy hissed quietly, looking around cautiously.

He even made Jackson and Karry wait for a moment as he peeked around the wall to check for 'danger'.

Jackson huffed sulkily as he watched Roy do his job. Karry chuckled as he slung an arm around Jackson, "You'll thank us when you don't die later."

"Watch your mouth." Jackson snapped.

"It's safe, let's go guys!" Roy chirped as he moved on.

The three were in a shopping mall, hanging out because home was too boring.

"Hey guys. Do you know what today is?" Jackson asked, out of the blue.

"Uh... A Sunday?" Karry offered.

Jackson rolled his eyes, "Yes it's a Sunday but what day is it?"

"A weekend?" Roy spoke up, as he continued guiding the other two.

"It's Mother's Day!!" Jackson burst out.

The older two ooh-ed and aah-ed.

Jackson chuckled and smiled, "Shall we go home and do something for our mothers?"

"Totally!" Karry and Roy bro-fisted and slung an arm each around Jackson.

"Happy Mother's Day, mummy!" Jackson greeted happily, as he presented to her his present.

It was breakfast. He had made breakfast for her, her favorite meal sitting in front of her.

A cup of cappuccino, three meat buns, and a plate of bacon and eggs.

His mother's eyes sparkled happily, "You made all this for me?"

"Yes!" Jackson hugged his mother tightly, inhaling her sweet scent.

"Alright, mummy, go ahead and enjoy!" He said a second later when he let her go.

Suddenly, his mother looked nervous. She was wringing her hands together, looking down at her food.

"Mum?" Jackson asked, worriedly.

His mother looked up and looked around the room.

Karry and Roy's mum were also sat around the table, happily smiling at her sons. Their fathers were sat beside their mums. Kang Wen and Kang Zhen and Alex were smiling at the sweet atmosphere by the doorway.

"Is something wrong?" Kang Zhen asked, stepping forward towards Jackson.

His mum let out a shaky breath before she said, "Jackson, I've got something to tell you."

"What is it, mummy?" Jackson smiled warmly, urging her to continue.

"I..."

"I what mum?" Jackson squeezed her shoulder comfortingly.

She had such a small frame it was surprising she was in her mid-40s.

"I'm not your real mother."

That surprised Jackson and the rest around the room for a mere second before Jackson chuckled, "Yes, I know mummy. I'm the Royal Prince and you're one of the maids together with daddy who was the window cleaner. But you both were the one who raised me and you'll always be my mummy and daddy, okay? Don't worry too much about it, I love you both."

He planted a kiss on his mother's cheek and a kiss on his father's cheek.

"I love you too, Jackie." his mum smiled, using her nickname for him.

"I love you too, son." his father pulled him into a bone crushing hug.

"Alright. Enjoy you guys." Jackson smiled as he motioned for Roy and Karry to leave the room with him.

Kang Wen stopped Jackson, "Hey. Papa and I have something to show you."

"Oh. Okay." Jackson nodded, glancing at the other two in confusion. Alex smiled at them warmly as he said, "You'll see what it is."

They shrugged and proceeded to follow Kang Wen, Alex and Kang Zhen.
~~~
They were led to the backyard and it was the most astounding place they had ever seen.
Flowers were grown everywhere, all full grown and healthy. A bridge was perfectly built over a pond, that a family of ducks lived in. There were koi fishes living inside the pond too. The ducks and the koi fishes actually lived in harmony.
They came to two tombstones.
"Wha-?" Jackson stumbled forward when Kang Wen pulled his hand.
Roy felt something bubble in his chest but he couldn't identify it. Was it happiness? Anger? or was it...
...Jealousy?
"This is the King and Queen's tombs. Also your real parents tombstones, Prince Jackson." Kang Wen suddenly got all formal as she curtsied slightly and backed away.
Jackson then realized that Kang Zhen was slightly bowed and Alex had made Karry and Roy bow too.
Jackson blinked, surprise filling his system as he turned to face his real parents.
"Hello...Mum. Dad." he said awkwardly.
He smiled as he stayed quiet, letting the peace flow into the quietness.
"Is that all you are going to say, Prince Jackson?" Kang Zhen asked.
"Um..I..uh.. Mum, Dad. I'm your son. I'm sorry that I just came back..I'm also sorry to say I've forgotten about you both. But..." Jackson let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding, "I'm going to regain the memories I have with you both. Happy Mother's Day, mum. And I...I love you both too."
And it was true. He didn't know the two personally but he could feel the love and tenderness in his heart.
He meant what he said.
He loved them.
Anyway, this chapter is dedicated to my mummy because I love her sooooo much and I want her to know that. She's been there for me ever since I was born and I've been so dependent on her. I'm grateful for everything she's done for me..and I guess this is just my small way of showing her. I love you, mummy! 😘
