"Jackson died during the surgery."

Karry's grip on Kang Zhen's arm tightened, as he screamed, "You must be fucking kidding me!!"

"There were EIGHT PROFESSIONAL SURGEONS in there and you're telling me none of them assholes could save Jackson?!!" Roy shouted, the tears trickling down his face more and more.

Kang Zhen winced as he silently patted Karry's hand.

"I'm sorry." the doctor that had came out earlier said from behind them. He was bowing his head in apology.

"That's all you can say? I'm sorry? You let him die in there!" Kang Wen roared, as she hit the doctor on his arm repeatedly.

"Kang Wen, stop. It was time for Jackson to go." Kang Zhen said sternly, as he made Karry let him go. He pulled Kang Wen away from the doctor who still had his head bowed in apology.

Kang Wen whipped her head around and glared at her father, "Time for him to go? You're crazy, daddy. He was only fourteen years old! And he was this nation's only hope..." She squat down as her chest heaved up and down with each painful sob.

Kang Zhen sighed as he reached out to pat his daughter's head. Before he could do so, Kang Wen stood up and ran away.

"...Kang Wen!!" Roy shouted and ran after her.

One of the eight surgeon came out with a stack or letters in his hands.

"Prince Jackson...during the surgery, he told me to write down the letters he wanted to give you all. Inside these letters are everything he wanted to say to you all. Please take the time to read them." he said as he handed all the letters to Kang Zhen who gratefully accepted them.

Kang Zhen slowly handed out the letters and gave Roy and Kang Wen's letters to Karry who took it to the younger two.

Of course, he had to find them first..which isn't some easy job considering that the hospital is pretty huge.
---

Kang Wen had ran to the hospital's rooftop. It was the only quiet place- well, the hospital is already a very quiet place but there were too many people.

She wanted to cry alone.

And the rooftop was the perfect place.

'Screw everyone.' Kang Wen thought as she bitterly watched the people below. They were laughing happily in the hospital's garden with the people who were still alive.

Kang Wen furiously wiped away the tears that were flowing at a fast pace down her face.

"I lost my loved one twice...Jackson, you liar. You said that we were going to get back safely. Why didn't you keep that promise?" Kang Wen whispered softly, as she turned her eyes away from the dark sky and slowly slid down to the floor.

As if the sky sensed her pain, rain fell down on cue.

Pitter Patter.

Pitter Patter.

The sky was crying with her.

She started crying silently, then loudly.

"Uwaaaaa!! Uwaaaaa!! Jackson Yi!! Why did you leave me? You bastard!!" she cried loudly, as she clenched her fists.

Suddenly, her body felt warm all over.

Roy had bent down and hugged her, providing her with the warmth she really needed.

"Kang Wen...we're all heartbroken over Jackson...but please stay strong. After all, I'm sure Jackson wouldn't want to leave seeing us cry, right?" Roy sighed sadly, as he pulled Kang Wen closer.

He laid his chin on her head, as he rubbed circles around her back with his hand comfortingly.

"B-But...I haven't even said goodbye yet... I haven't said I loved him yet!!" Kang Wen sobbed as she turned and balled up Roy's wet shirt in her fists.

Roy's heart broke when she said that. However, he simply smiled sadly and kept quiet. He patted her back soothingly and whispered words of comfort.

Suddenly, the door to the rooftop slammed open and Karry came stomping out into the open, drenching in the rain.

In a mere second, he let out a girly scream and ran back under the shade.

"Hoi! Both of you, get your ass in the shade now or you'll get sick!" Karry hollered angrily.

The younger two quickly obeyed.

Karry took off his jacket while grumbling under his coat and threw it over Kang Wen's head.

"Wear that. As for you, Roy, you should know better than to hug a girl under the rain." Karry said, his voice venomous.

Without letting Roy or Kang Wen response, he handed them Jackson's letters.

"This is....?" Kang Wen whispered.

"...Jackson's letters to us. He said everything he wanted to say during the surgery and the doctor was kind enough to write down everything." Karry answered as he motioned for the two to follow him.

They slowly walked back to the surgery room while reading their letters.

Just as they reached the surgery room, Kang Wen ran to Kang Zhen and pulled him into a tight hug.

"Dad...can we go see Jackson now?"

Kang Zhen's eyes were red, meaning he cried as he read Jackson's letter to him.

"What did he say?" Karry asked.

Kang Zhen shakily showed Karry his letter which contained only four touching words.

Thank you for everything.

"Yes, dear. We can go see Jackson now." Kang Zhen replied Kang Wen hoarsely.

Together, they walked to the room Jackson was currently put in.
