In the early hours of the morning, I awoke for no apparent reason. It wasn't extremely early in the morning as I could see light coming through our window. I was guessing it was around 4-5 am, since it was the summer. My arm felt sort of heavy so I was going to roll over on my side but then I quickly realised it was heavier than normal because my boyfriend, Ben, was clinging onto my arm, he must of done this after I had fallen asleep
Ben and I had started dating 6 months ago, while we were filming Bohemian Rhapsody, but I don't think I've ever fallen in love with someone so fast before. I hadn't told him that yet. Every little thing about this boy made me smile endlessly
His blonde messy curls fell onto his sweet and perfect face that homed some of my favourite things about him. Anytime we were alone I'd play with his hair, running my hands through it, and never letting go because of how incredibly soft and silky it is
His cheeks always seemed to be flushed whenever he was sleeping and dreaming about me, as he tend to mutter my name, I guess I was making him happy in his favourite way, maybe like when I'd make him food and he'd wake up to the smell of his favourite food
His nose was the cutest little thing ever and you couldn't help but boop it whenever he was around, it would always end up with him giggling uncontrollably which is my favourite sound in the whole world
His eyes, despite them being close at the moment, were the most beautiful and perfect blue I've ever seen in my entire life and the things I'd do to look into them forever
The more I look at him the more I realise the small details about him
His eyelashes are the perfect length along with his eyebrows
His skin was so soft and I wish I could hold his face for all of eternity
His hands were also so soft and I loved holding them to the point where I wouldn't even realise I'd grabbed his hand at times
His hugs were some of the things I treasured most in this world because they made me feel safer than I had ever felt before
His ears were weirdly cute in ways I couldn't explain
'I love him' I thought for the first time
"I love you" I said for the first time, he couldn't hear me but I didn't care
