"Where do you wanna eat?" Rami asked Joe "It is your birthday after all"
21st of September. Joe Mazzello's birthday. Ben and Gwilym were on their way together since they lived closer and they were told different times than Rami. Also, everyone knows the phrase birthday sex and Ben promised Joe that but if they were going out for dinner, how would they fuck?
"Anywhere with a bathroom" Joe laughed, Rami looked confused
"Why?" Rami laughed back confused
"We're gonna be drinking a lot and liquid goes through me quicker than you can say Bob's your uncle" Joe responded
"Bob's you uncle?" Rami was even more confused now
"Ben taught me it, it's a British saying" Joe explained to the clueless American
Rami raised his eyebrows and smirked at Ben's name drop
"Ben ay?" Rami asked once again another question, it was like Joe was on trial for murder
"What about him?" Joe ran his hand through his hair
"You're quite close" Rami kept his cheeky smirk on his face
"Of course we're close, we worked on a project together and he's my friend" Joe explained. That was something Joe was saying a lot about Ben recently, they're just friends. Well, Joe wasn't too sure what to call him and Ben, boyfriends? The last time, Joe tried putting a label on the two of them Ben didn't want to talk to Joe for a couple of days but started up again when people got suspicious they weren't talking as much
"We worked on The Pacific and we're not as close as you and Ben" Rami pointed it out, he didn't care they weren't like Ben and Joe, people have different interests from other people like Joe and Gwilym absolutely love golf, however, that's not Ben or Rami's cup of tea.
Joe leaned in and jokes "Well that's because you're annoying"
Rami responded by saying he's annoying too. Amazingly, Gwilym and Ben walked through the door
"WHERE IS THE BIRTHDAY BOY?" Gwilym shouted to them both
"UPSTAIRS IN HIS ROOM!" Rami answered for Joe
"NOT FUCKING ARE YOU?" Gwilym joked
"YEAH, WE ARE, SORRY GUYS!" Rami tried keeping a straight face as he said it, but failed massively "BALLS DEE-"
"Do not say that!" Joe covered Rami's mouth before he could finish the word, at this point he could hear Ben's and Gwilym's giggles as they reached the top of the stairs and made their way
"Hiya mate!" Ben said as he saw Rami, in response he stood up and hugged the younger but taller man
"Happy birthday!" Gwilym beamed at Joe as he gave him a hug knowing damn well he's have to get on his tiptoes
They all exchanged hugs and gave Joe his gifts which mostly included alcohol, except for Ben
FLASHBACK
"What do you want for your birthday?" Ben asked lying on Joe's bare chest (i want you to imagine this like how deaky is lying on roger in the sheer heart attack album cover). This was a case of pillow talk
"It's only August?" Joe questioned, playing with Ben's curly blonde hair that was slightly messed up
"And? I want to make sure you get what you want for your birthday" Ben responded to his question
"Okay, I want..." Joe thought, playing with one part of Ben's hair now, "You"
"You'll always have me" Ben smiled but Joe couldn't see he just guessed he did from the way his head moved a little
