"Bro, I know the summers out here be going stupid."

"Oh, God."

"Bro, you gotta come out here, though, man. Like we'll make it happen, bro. It's big enough. I could talk to my aunt and uncle."

"I don't know, bro. You family. I'm just friends. They not gonna let me live off them for months."

"Oh, oh, go, go this way, go this way, go this way." Will tried to get Tray to not go over to where Carlton,Alexandria and Lisa were talking.

"Yo, what's good? I'm Tray. You must be Alexandria and Lisa, huh?" Tray said as he introduced himself.

"Yes, nice to finally meet you Tray," Alexandria said as she shook Tray's hand.

"Nice to meet you," Lisa said with a wave.

"Same, same. My boy be talking about you Alexandria. All good, though--you good." That caused Alexandria to smile as noticed Will come over.

"Hey, hey sorry-- sorry to bug y'all. Come on, man. Uncle Phil's waiting for us. Come on. All right, y'all." With Will saying that it caused her smile to drop it was like he didn't want to be near her.

"Enjoy the concert," Carlton told them as they walked off.

"Bye." Both the girls said confused.

"What's with Will? He seems off." Alexandria asked Carlton with a confused look on her face. She couldn't get over that because it wasn't like him.

"Who knows? You both want to get back to the guest list?" He asks them

"Sure," Lisa answered for them as Alexandria sighed while she watched Will and Tray walk away.

"Come on." Carlton gently pulled Alexandria along with them as walked back to the table to finish.

It was now just Alexandria and Carlton after Lisa left for her swim practice. The two were having fun like old time as they continued working on the fundraiser.

"The whole time," Carlton said causing them both to laugh as they went over the small details.

"I hate you." Alexandria continued laughing at Carlton, she missed being able to just chill with Carlton and not have to be on defense all the time around him. This was the Carlton she grew up with.

"Wait, um, why the Mardi Gras theme?" Carlton ask her.

"So when my mama was a girl, she used to visit her family in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. And she loved it. The people, the music, the food. She even brought me and Lisa down there one year and it was amazing." Alexandria smiled at the memory. Carlton stared at her as she reminisced those moments.
