Best friends forever (COMPLETE)

Part 1

August 19, 1990, Río Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico

My name is Estrella Alma Torres-Fernandez. The first 15 years of my life were amazing, I had great parents, great godparents, and my best friend in the entire world. I've known Marco since I was born, we were both born on May 18, 1975! Our parents have all been best friends since jr high. Me and Marco have always been so close and our friend group is so cool too. And today we're starting high school! Nothing could ever break our friendship!

I put my red sweater over my button-up shirt and patted my plaid skirt. I took a deep breath as I looked in the mirror, "you've got this Estrella!" I told myself. I walked down the hall to the living room, Marco was sitting on the couch waiting for me. He was wearing the same uniform as me just with pants instead, he had slightly pale skin, fluffy black hair and light brown eyes. "Took you long enough" he said, "Marco!" His mom said as she slapped him gently on the back of the head. "Estrella come, stand next to Marco I wanna get a picture" My mom told me. I walked over to the couch and Marco puts his arm around me and we both smile, mom then clicked the button and took the picture.

Me and Marco ran outside to catch the bus, we were about to be late, then the bus stopped and we got on. We both sat in the back of the bus with our friends, "you guys are late, what were you doing, making out?" Valentina said, she had tan skin similar to mine, shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes. Val has always thought that me and Marco should start dating, ever since we met. Val is like the loud, fun one in the group and she's really cool. "Val, they told you many time they are just friends" Maria said, Maria had dark golden skin, curly black hair and brown eyes. Maria has always been the shy and quiet one but she is so sweet. "Yeah it getting really old, just accept they don't like each other like that"' Pablo added, Pablo is like the smart and sarcastic one, he had light brown curly hair and brown eyes. "Shut up Pablo!" Val quickly replied, making her hand into a fist. "Uh Val, you should probably calm down" Diego said, Diego was pretty pale and had light, almost blonde hair and gray eyes, he also had lots of freckles on his cheeks. He was very quiet and only really talks to Val. Val went quiet after that, Diego was like the only one who can calm down Val, I think it's because Val has a crush on him.

When we got to school, we were all in the same home room! "Ok everyone I'm your home room teacher, Mr. Chávez, we will start with some ice breakers so everyone say your name and something about you" the teacher said. The boy in the first desk started talking and stuff, and honestly I found it pretty boring. It was Marco's turn, "my name is Marco Gomez-Garcia and I like to skateboard" he said. Then it was my turn, "I'm Estrella Torres-Fernandez and I play violin" I said. Then a few more people went. But there was this girl that really stood out, in a good way. She had purple ombré hair, from light to dark, she had brown eyes and tan skin. "Hi I'm Cruz Lopez and I like to play violin" she said, her name was kind of boyish and it didn't quite fit her, but she also played violin. I glanced over and saw Marco looked super mesmerized. "Someone had a crush~" I whispered in a singy voice as I gently elbowed him, "what are you talking about?!" He whispered as he put his hand over his mouth to hide his red face.

It was lunch time and we were all outside sitting at a bench, eating. "So did you see that girl with the purple hair, Marco has a crush on her~" I said, "Estrella!" He said as his face turned red again. "Wait you do!?" Val said in complete shock. "Noooo!!" She yelled, making everyone look at us. "You and Estrella are supposed to get married and me and Diego's kids are supposed to be best friends with your kids!" "Wait what?" Diego asked and Val's faced turned red, "uh nothing!" She said. "Why are you making such a big deal about it? You know I already have a boyfriend anyways!" I said, "wait WHAT!" Everyone was so shocked. "Wait, you guys didn't know?" I asked, "who are you dating?" Maria asked in her soft calming voice, "um Victor Santos" I replied. Val got so angry and jumped up, putting her hand in a fist. "Where is he? I'm gonna beat his ass!" She said. "He doesn't go here" I said. "Well I'm gonna find out where he goes and beat him up!"

I should probably tell you the story of how I got together with Victor. It all started in 7th grade when I met him. It was the first day of school and I was so nervous, I of course had Marco to talk to but I needed to make some new friends. So the first people I walk up to is a group of people, 3 girls and 4 boys. "Hi I'm Estrella" I said as I waved. Victor was the first one to reply, "who the hell do you think you are talking to us?" He said, "um I just trying to make new friends" I replied and he pushed me to the ground. "Why would we want to be friends with you?" He said and the rest of the people laugh. Tears started to fill my eyes and then I heard someone call me, "ESTRELLA!" It was Marco. He ran to us and helped me up. "What the hell is your problem!?" He said to Victor "we're to cool to be friends with her, you should learn your place" he replied. Him and his friends made fun of me all of jr high. Then over the summer he called me. He told me that he was so sorry about what happened and that the truth was he actually liked me and thought I was cute. I forgave him and we started dating.

After school I walked with all my friends to the bus stop, "um I'll be right back, I have to go do something" I said "ok just make sure you don't miss the bus" Marco said. Then I saw Val making a kissy face and Marco told her to shut up.

I ran to the back of the school, Victor was standing at the back gate waiting for me. Victor was tall, like 5'10. He had curly black hair and dark eyes. He was wearing a school uniform that had a blue blazer. He looked up and smiled at me, I smiled and hugged him. "Did you have a good day?" He asked, "yeah, high school is pretty cool" I replied, "how was your fancy private school?" I asked, "uh it was alright" he replied. He looked at me and gently grabbed my chin and kissed me. We made out for a like a minute. Then I pulled away, "um I have to go catch the bus" I said, "oh okay, um see you around" Victor said and I waved back as I ran to the bus stop.

A few people were still getting on, I was just about to get there when the last person got on and the door closed. I ran up to the door but the bus had started moving already. "Ugh!" I groaned. Then as the bus passed me, I saw Marco in the window, sitting next to that girl with the purple hair.
