Part 11

It had been a month since the last time I saw Victor, I hadn't texted him or anything. The last thing was when he texted me 'you crazy bitch'. Everything had been pretty normal. Every morning I would walk with Marco to the bus stop where we would almost miss it, we'd all have home room together, we'd have lunch together, and go home together.

It was Friday today so me and Marco were gonna have our sleepover we have every Friday. Everyone had always gave me disgusted looks now because everyone had heard what happened with me and Victor. Me and Marco got off the bus, "oh I have to go get some stuff for our sleepover, I'll be back!" I said, "okay" he replied and I ran in my house. I walked in my room, and got a bag to put everything in. I had got my pajamas, Alcanzar una estrella on dvd, and stuff like that. I was always so excited about our sleepovers. I walked out and mamá was on the couch. "Estrella can you clean the kitchen?" She asked, "mamá I'm going over to Marco's" I replied, "come on it will only talk a few minutes" I groaned "fine." And after 30 long minutes I was done cleaning the kitchen. I got my bag and headed out the door.

I walked in Marco's house and his mom walked in, "ay, Estrella, you scared me! I know you're here all the time but it wouldn't hurt you to knock!" "Sorry, Tia Gloria I just am really excited!" "Of course, Marco's in his room" she said. I walked down the hall to Marco's room. His door was cracked open a bit. "It's okay, Marco, I- um I care about you a lot. I love you" it was Cruz. What was Cruz doing here? "I love you too, um Estrella is gonna come over so-" "why does she have to come over? Did you hear what she did to Victor?" "Come on, Cruz you know I don't like rumors" "yeah but this one's true! Did you also heard that she's only dating him for his money" "well there's a rumor she likes me, so" "but that one is actually true!" "No it's not" "yeah she told me!" "O-oh-"

I ran out of the house after that, I didn't want to heard any of that! Also I told Cruz that I if we didn't grow up together I'd probably like him, not that I did! Ugh she's always twisting stories!

I ran in my room and put my face in my pillow. I texted Marco, "sorry I can't come over, too many chores." Why was Cruz like that! What did she have to be jealous of me?! I mean she's pretty, popular, and has an amazing boyfriend. Why would she be jealous of me of all people?!

My phone dinged and I flipped it open, it was Val, "OMG YOU HAD SEX WITH VICTOR?!"  What the heck was she talking about?! "What?!" I text back, "Cruz is telling everybody" she replied, "omg I did not!" I text. Why was she doing this?!

Monday at school I walk in and immediately get weird looks. "I heard she's pregnant with Victor's baby" "I heard she's with him for money" what was everyone's problem?! I walk up to Marco, "everyone is acting crazy!" I said, "I know, by the way what's up with you and Victor?" He asked, "oh I haven't talked to him months" "oh well I heard he's the one spread all these rumors" "ugh of course!" I groaned. I also know someone else who is too.

It was lunch time and I walked up to Cruz. She was sitting at a table with her cool, popular friends as they smear on their lip gloss. "What the hell is your problem?!" I said, she chuckled, "I have no idea what you're talking about?" She said, "how could you just spread rumors about me? And let me guess, Victor's behind this too?" "Oh of course he is, but these rumors are just the beginning" she giggled, "I'm gonna ruin your life" "what'd I ever do you?!" I asked, and she giggled again.

Cruz was acting so creepy, she said she was gonna ruin my life. What the heck did she mean by "this is just the beginning"?!
