Best friends forever (COMPLETE)

Part 2

I ended up walking home. It was already September and it was still hot in Mexico. The  Tamaulipas sun was blazing fire, making me sweat so much. I had took off my red sweater and tied it around my waist. I slumped over as I walked, it was so hot outside. Then after 20 minutes of walking in the blazing sun, I finally reached home. I knocked on the door of my house and I could hear all my friends talking and the tv, they were probably watching Quinceañera or something. Pablo open the door and my eyes raged. I ran inside, everyone was sitting on the couch. "oh Estrella you made it! Your face is all red are you ok?" Maria asked, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!" I yell, "YOU GUYS LEFT ME! AND I HAD TO WALK AND ITS LITERALLY 35°!! (95°F)" I yelled. Maria looked frightened and ran into her bf's arms. Pablo put an arm around Maria and looked at me with fire in his eyes, "Maria didn't do anything to you, you were making out with your boyfriend behind the school!" He said irritated, "u-uh u-um, sorry Maria" I said as I calm down. "WAIT WHAT!" Val said as she hopped up from sitting on the arm of the couch. "You we're making out with Victor?!" She said and made a disgusted face, "n-no" I said, "she's lying her face is red" Marco said still sitting on the couch. "You disgust me!" Val said, "well you think about making out with Diego!" I replied, "what?!" Diego said as he stood up from the couch, "what are you talking about!" Val said as she started to get embarrassed, "come on guys are we really gonna fight about this?" Marco said, we all looked at each other, "I'm sorry, Val" I said, "no I'm sorry, Rella" Val said, "no I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you like that, Estrella" Pablo said, "I'm sorry, Estrella. We forgot all about on the bus" Maria said, and all 6 of us hugged. That's why I loved our friendship so much, we fight over little things but we all make up in the end. Like I said nothing at all can break our friendship!

Later me, Val, and Maria were in my room and the boys were hanging out at Marco's house, which was right next to mine. We were in my room hanging out. My room was really small, the concrete walls were rough, the window was covered by a bright pink sheet making the room have a pink tint to it, and we were all laying on my small twin size bed, right on my pink butterfly blanket. We were sitting in comfortable silence, the only noise was the fan that was in the middle of the room in front of my dresser. As it's head moved through out the room ever few seconds I get a gush of air in my face. "So are you guys gonna go to the 10th grade party?" Val asked, "what's that?" Maria asked, "oh it's a party that someone named Caden Lopez is gonna be hosting, I don't know I saw it on AOL" Val replied. That name sounded so familiar, who was it. Then I remembered when we did icebreakers in homeroom. The girl with the purple hair! "Oh that's the name of the girl with the purple hair!" I said, "oh really? I assumed it was a guy because her name is so boyish" Val replied. She stood up and walked over to the mirror, "if I wanna look cute for the party I should probably lose some weight" she said, "maybe I should cut back on all those nachos" she groaned, I walked over to her. "Valentina, you are already prefect. Eat up all those nachos!" I said, "easy for you to say, your so skinny, and look at this big tummy I have!" Val said as she poked at her stomach. I crossed my arms hiding my stomach. I always hated being so skinny. "I would rather have your body" I mumbled, "I just wanna be cute and feminine. I'm already more of a tomboy!" She said as she fell onto the bed, putting her face in the pillow. "Why are you so worried about that?" Maria asked, Val sat up and her face turned red. "I-I'm- what if Diego doesn't like boyish girls or chubby girls? What if he liked cute, skinny girls? Like someone like Estrella" Val said as she pointed at me. "You are just so cute and skinny and feminine. I just wanna be more like you" Val said. I was so confused at why she would say this? I mean I'm super awkward and not cute at all, I'm super skinny and I look like a stick! I literally have no boobs or butt! I'm also only 5'0 which is super short and I hate that so much!

I sighed and hugged Val, "you don't have to look like me to be cute. You are so charming and outgoing and your super funny." I said, "but do you think I'm pretty?" Val asked as she frowned, "of course! You have such soft silky hair and big wide sparkly eyes and soft tan skin" I smiled. Val pulled me in and hugged me again. Then Maria joined in and we all hugged for a while, "you guys are my best friends ever!" Val said.

Then Pablo walked in, "hey amor, my mom said I have to go home now so-" he said and paused. We all broke away from the hug and Maria ran up to Pablo, "okay I'm probably gonna go home too." She said, "ok I'll call you later" Pablo said and kissed Maria on the cheek, "love you amor" he said and walked out. Maria sighed and he face was super red, "'I love you so much Pablo!! You are my one true love! Let's stay together forever!'" Val mocked as she made her voice a higher pitch, Maria cleared her throat, "I don't talk like that" she said.

A few hours later everyone went home and me, Marco, and our parents were having dinner together. "Estrella is having a violin recital soon" my mom said. I totally forgot about it! With starting school and everything that happened, it slipped my mind. "Oh Estrella you have always been amazing at violin!" My godmother, Marco's mom, said "yes, she already the top student in the program" my dad added. "Show off" Marco said under his breath, "Marco!" My godfather, Marco's dad said, "sorry, papa" Marco quickly said, I then giggled. I can tell that high school is gonna be the best time of my life!
