Best friends forever (COMPLETE)

Part 3

High school has been pretty cool so far. My violin recital was coming up and I've been practicing really hard lately, school has been mostly good. Some classes are already trying to make us pick universities we want to go to but I think that's dumb. I'll probably start worrying about that next year. Anyways today during homeroom that purple hair girl was passing out invitations for that party that Val told me about. I was talking with Marco and she walked up to us. "Hey Marco, I was wondering if you wanted to go to my party, it's for year 10s only" she said, "o-oh s-sure" Marco said as his face turned a bit red he took the piece of paper she was holding out. "Oh and here's your invite Estrella" she said and put the same paper on my desk. I looked at the invite, it was black and red with gold glitter all over it. It said in big letters "Cruz's 10th grade party!" It was almost like it was screaming at you, like 'HEY COME TO MY PARTY!' Val came up to me and Marco, waving around the invite, "so you wanna go to the mall today for outfits?!" She asked, she was super excited I could definitely tell. "Oh today me and Marco are gonna have our sleepover" I said. Every Friday me and Marco would have a sleepover where we would watch movie, stay up all night talking and then the next day we'd sleep until noon. It's just became a tradition now ever since we were 8. "Come on Rella! It's Friday and the party is next week!" She said, "but-" "come on Marco, you can wait just a bit, after that you and Estrella can make out all you want!" Val practically begged, "we were not gonna make out!" Marco sighed "it's fine, you can go to the mall for a bit." Val's eyes lit up, "yay!"

After school we walked out the door with everyone, "oh guys I'll be right back" I said and I quickly ran to the back of the school without waiting for a reply. There he was standing at the back gate. "Hey" I said looking up at Victor. "Oh hey" he said, "did you have a good day?" "Yeah, you?" "It was alright." I looked at Victor and I could feel my face go red, he smiled back and we kissed. We made out for a few seconds and then I pulled away, "hey Victor can I ask you something?" "Of course." I looked down at my feet nervously, "um do you maybe wanna hang out at my house this weekend, you know since your my boyfriend and I'm your girlfriend?" He looked at me with a face that was almost disgust, "who said I was your boyfriend?" I was so confused, "well I gotta go, see you around" "see ya" I said quietly.

I quickly ran to the bus, I was not gonna miss it again! Right as it was about to leave I quickly stepped on. I walked to the back of the bus to my usual spot, right next to Marco. I sat down and put my bag in front of me on my lap. I thought about what Victor said, it made me really sad. I thought we were dating for 3 months already but I guess not. "Estrella are you okay?!" Marco said, he sounded so panicked, I turned to him. "Uh-" I noticed that my cheeks were wet, had I been crying? Marco pulled me in tight, "what happened? Was it Victor?" He asked. I buried my face in his chest making his sweater wet with tears. I couldn't say what happened. "Oh my gosh, Rella what happened?!" Val quickly rushed to me and hugged me while I was still hugging Marco, "what happened?" She asked him, "I don't know." Then Diego, Maria, and Pablo all joined in the hug and comforted me. I really really love my friends.

A little later, we were at our stop. We all got off at Val's house. Her mom was gonna drive us to the mall and then drop us off at our houses. I stepped off as I wiped my nose, "are you sure you're okay?" Marco said as he patted my head, "yeah we don't have to go to the mall if you don't want to" Val added, "n-no no it's fine I'm okay now!" I said. I knew Val had been looking forward to this party and I couldn't ruin it for her. She needed a cute outfit. Val's mom came out, "hey niños are you ready to do some shopping?" She said. Val groaned, "mom don't embarrass me!" She said. Val's mom was actually really nice and she seemed like a really good mom.

We all got in the car, Val was sitting in the passenger seat, me, Marco, and Diego were in the back seat, and Maria and Pablo were in the trunk. Just kidding! Val's mom's car had a 2nd back seat.
