I immediately called Victor, ring, ring. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I yell, "what is wrong with you?! You pour a milkshake on me and don't text me for months?!" "You and Cruz are spreading rumors about me!" "Well hold on- I-" "no Victor I just- look I'm sorry about everything that happened at the mall. I just get insecure that you and your friends are rich and I'm extremely poor." He went silent for a bit, "Victor?" "Estrella, do you think we could give it another chance?" I hesitated, "yeah."

I was kind of happy I was back with Victor, even after all he did. I was in homeroom. We never really do anything in that class. I was sitting with Marco. Still people kept staring at me and gossiping. Cruz walked over, "Marco, it's almost your birthday so I thought we should do a party at my house!" She said, "oh cool" he looked over at me, "you know Estrella and I have the same birthday" "oh that is so interesting" she said, "anyways, you can come after school and we'll talk about party planning." I know she did that on purpose! "Hey I'm sorry about that" Marco said, "oh no it's okay" I replied. I was really sad though. My parents never really celebrated my birthday, Marco's parents were the ones who through birthdays for him and just made it mine too last minute. I was just always forgotten about on my birthday. "You know we could plan it together and have a shared birthday" Marco suggested, "sure, sounds like fun" I smiled. Marco smiled and hugged me, "of course, I know everyone usually forgets but I'll never forget my birthday twin."

At lunch, "ooh I'm so excited for your guys's birthday party!" Val said, "yeah it's gonna be fun" Diego added. "Yeah it's gonna be at Cruz's house" Marco said, "cool!" I still wasn't sure about having it at Cruz's house, but I'll do it for Marco. I should get along with his girlfriend anyways.

After school me and Marco got off the bus with Cruz. "Oh Estrella, do you wanna hang out with us too?" She asked, "oh me and Estrella are gonna have a shared birthday party" Marco said putting an arm around me. Cruz gave me a nasty look then we all walked in her house. I got a way better look at it, mostly because there wasn't war bleeding music and there was drunk people everywhere. It was really amazing. We went up to her room and started to plan the birthday party. "Okay so I'm thinking the theme could be like 70s disco" "sure that sounds cool" "okay so like everyone could dress up in 70s style clothes and we can have a cool disco ball and loud music and it gonna be really fun!" "Cool but um I don't have a lot of money for that stuff" "oh that's okay, I'll pay for everything" "are you sure that's a lot" "of course anything for you." Then Cruz kissed Marco and gave me the same look again. "So what do you think, Estrella?" Marco asked me, "oh sounds good to me" I replied. I could tell Cruz definitely didn't want me there, or anywhere near her. I never did anything to her she just doesn't like me. "So do you guys want a drink or something?" Cruz asked, "sure" Marco replied, "okay, oh Estrella can you come help me?" Cruz asked, "yeah sure" "be right back, Marco!"

We walked down to the Kitchen. Cruz opened the fridge and took out some juice. "Okay, what the hell is your problem, like seriously?!" She said, "what are you talking about?" "You know exactly what I'm talking about, did you wanna come over because you didn't want anything to happen between me and Marco or what?!" "N-no Marco said I can come to plan the party!" "Well I said I'd pay for Marco, not you! So you gotta pay me like 6,200 pesos" "what?!" "You heard me, I'll give you a month to pay up, if you can't then how about I tell everyone you're little secret" "what secret?" I asked, "oh I have something of yours that has all your juicy secrets." Cruz opened the top cabinet and took out a book, my diary! "Where did you get that!" "Oh you left it at Marco's house, I read it and if you don't pay up I'll have to tell everyone your secrets. Ooh like this one!" She opened the book and skipped a few pages. "October 23, 1990, today was Cruz's party and I had a lot of fun. I hanged out with Victor's friends and told them how I really feel about my friends.." I tried to grab the book but she dodged, "not so fast, I wasn't finished. ..like how I really think that Val is really annoying and can be extremely obnoxious or how I think that Pablo is extremely controlling on Maria, how I think Maria is too quiet and it's stupid that she barely talks. How Diego is just in our friend group to be with Val and doesn't like the rest of us, or how I never actually wanted to be friends with Marco my parents just made me..." I stood there unable to speak, "please I'll do anything, just please don't tell!" "Pay the money then" "okay I'll do it" I said. Cruz smiled and put it back in the cabinet. I was so scared I had to come up with 6,200 pesos! I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote in that book! All of those thinks aren't even true anymore! I love all my friends even their imperfections!
