Hetty had to go overseas for a meeting, it would take a week. She told Granger she would try to call each day.

A week later, the calls stopped. A few days later, it had been revealed to the team that on the way to the meeting on it's last day, the parade of cars with escorts had been ambushed, and most of the people had been taken captive, and Hetty was among the captured.

Granger was pissed that it had taken a few days to hear of the hard news, and ordered the agents to travel overseas to rescue the captives.

They got to where the captives were being held, most of them were still alive. But Hetty wasn't there.

A through inspection of the grounds suggested that she had escaped.

They canvassed the country, but they still couldn't find her.

'If she escaped a few days ago, she's probably out of this country by now and trying to get home.' Callen suggested.

'I hope you're right.' Granger replied, with a sad voice.

When they got home, Granger ordered that a photo of her be on the big screen at OPS during the day until she was found.

'This is to be a reminder that she is still out there, and we cannot give up on her!' He said.

A week had passed. Still no word on Hetty's whereabouts.

Granger had gotten more and more worried as each day had passed, and the team had noticed.

'Where are you Hetty?!' He anxiously thought.

That night, when he was asleep, he heard noises coming from downstairs. He snuck downstairs, and saw Hetty sitting in front of the fireplace with a cup of tea.

'Thank God!' He thought, relieved that she was still alive.

He wanted to walk over to her and give her a hug, but something inside of him was telling him to leave her be for the time being.

'I'll see if she comes to bed.' He thought while going back to bed.

The next day, he saw that she didn't come to bed. He went downstairs, and saw Hetty asleep on the couch.

He took a seat next to her, and waited for her to wake up.

Hetty eventually stirred.

'I'm glad you're alive.' Granger said.

Hetty sat up. 'Yeah, I'm I'm glad I am too.' She replied.

'Are you okay?'

'Now that I'm home, yeah.'

'Why didn't you call?' Granger asked.

'I didn't know who to trust if I were to ask for a phone.'

'Everyone's been really worried about you, we didn't know if you were still alive. I've had your picture up in OPS for the past week to remind the team to not give up on you.'

Feeling emotional, Hetty walked over to him, and started crying into his chest.

'Oh baby, I wasn't trying to make you feel worse, I was just saying how worried I and the team have been.' Granger said, rubbing her shoulder.

'It's been really bad!' Hetty replied, still crying.

'Shh shh shh. You don't have to talk about it now if you don't want to. I'm just glad you're okay.'

'Sniff. I'm glad I am too!'
