"Who are you?!" A man with staples on his face and blackened dead skin tried to shove me backward. Himiko and I just got back from shopping, the bags in our hands. Himiko gasped, quickly shoving him back with a knife in her hand.
"Leave Mom alone!" She hissed. He raised his hands as I patted her head.
"Easy, Himiko," I soothed as she relaxed. "I apologize; my name is Kyu. Tomura brought me here. Himiko was helping me with the groceries; I took the liberty of cleaning the kitchen..." I winced, "You guys really need someone to look after you..."
"Whatever, Kyu," he snapped. I chuckled; Tomura did warn me that they weren't all nice...
"What's your name?" I asked softly, smiling at him.
"Dabi; now leave me alone," he glared at me. His turquoise eyes burned with hatred, but oddly enough, it seemed to be with hatred for himself...
"I'm making lunch for me and Himiko; do you want anything?" I offered as he puffed out air. He would frown, I'd bet, if his face wasn't stapled together. Without thinking, I gently touched his cheek, making him wince. He pulled away nearly immediately.
"Eh... fine... a Turkey sandwich sounds good..." he grumbled, itching the back of his neck. "But we're not friends!" He called after us as we went back toward the kitchen.
"All right, Dabi, we're not friends," I chuckled as he raised an eyebrow. I gave him a soft smile as K headed toward the kitchen. Himiko attempted to sneak a glare from behind my back, which I caught as I scowled at her for a brief moment, her eventually following me to the kitchen.
"So what are you making for food, Mom?" Himiko smiled at me, clapping her hands together.
"I was thinking blood pudding," I smiled as I put the food away.
"You know how to make that?!" Her eyes sparkled.
"Yes, I do," I chuckled, feeling free as I grabbed the knives and cutting board. If Mom was still with me... she would never have let me use this stuff... especially by myself. It's so liberating to be able to function normally.
Soon, I got to work, prepping the blood pudding for Himiko and I; and a Turkey sandwich for Dabi...
It's strange, but Dabi... must have had some sort of family trauma himself. I could see it in his eyes when Himiko called me 'Mom'.

"Boss!" Himiko cheered as I headed out to the bar. It was the first font; almost a fake wall to cover the rest of the facility.
I smiled at him, as he turned slightly pink as I dusted my hands off on my new apron. It was a dark green, already covered in flour. His eyes swirled with dee emotion.
"An apron..?" He choked out.
"I've been busy," I chuckled as he gulped, trembling, "Kitchen's clean, food is made. I made blood pudding; figured you wouldn't mind too much. Are you all right? You look exhausted, my love."
"...Not fair..." he whispered back as I shrugged with a smile, "That's so not fair..."
"What's not fair, Tomura?" I asked softly as his heart nearly leapt out of his chest. I could hear how fast it was beating...
"You being so... so... Motherly. It makes me want to put a baby in you," he blurted out, causing a scarlet blush to erupt from both of our faces.
"Ew..." Dabi scoffed, turning green. "You're disgusting, Tomura..."
"Coming from a fire starter?" He snapped back.
"Boys, enough!" I spoke out as Tomura looked down at the ground.
