I gently pulled my wrist free from the contraption, quietly standing up on my feet. My legs shook as I tried to bear my own weight before collapsing. I had no idea how long I was there for; only that it felt like an eternity without my Tomura...
But then the wall gave way with a loud sound. As the debris smoke cleared, I saw him.
"Tomura..." I gasped as he leapt through the hole, landing easily on his feet. He looked at me, his burgundy eyes full of light. I could tell he was smiling beneath that hand of a mask he has.
"Kyu!" He ran to me, holding me tightly for a brief moment. His heart pounded as his breathing slowed. He took my face in his hands, telling me what I needed to hear, "Don't worry; we're leaving. They won't hurt you again!"
I cried silently with a smile as he scooped me up, my legs wrapping around his hips as he carried me out of there. I snuggled into his chest, feeling safe in his arms.
"I love you, Tomura," I murmured into his ear. I could feel him smirk as we heard the alarm sounding. Two pro-heroes looked on, their mouths agape as we made our escape.
They followed us as we neared the city ruins. A wave of blue fire surrounded us, keeping the heroes from catching up. I gasped as Dabi leapt in front of us.
"Dabi! Himiko!" I called out as Himiko slashed the air with her knife.
"Boss! Auntie! Go!" Dabi called out, using his blue flames once more. Himiko joined him, stabbing another. Tomura gave a sharp nod as we hurried passed them.
"It's all right, we got them! Keep Mom safe!" Himiko smirked at us, waving at me as she drained someone of their blood completely.
"...Am I really worth you guys sacrificing your lives...?" I asked quietly as we paused for a short breath. My mind flashed to Mange as she defended me with her last breath. I barely knew her, but she still decided to protect me...
"You're worth it, my love," he murmured as I sighed. "You're worth much, much more than you know."
"There you are," Endeavor proclaimed with a laugh, "Guess I'll burn you up, Tomura. Miss Kyubara; we will rescue you!" I hissed as Tomura blocked me from the heat of his flames. I gasped as Twice stood up for us, blocking the first round of fire.
"Mom!" Twice called out. "Auntie! Ma'am!" His clones called out to me. I smiled as they all leapt to my defense. Twice began to use his Quirk to make more clones, overwhelming Endeavor in numbers. Tomura continued to run as they took that hero head-on.
"You can do it, Twice!" I cheered.
"My, oh my," Midnight neared us, hand on her hip, "You've been naughty, Shigaraki... you should have a taste of your own medicine~" She tore through her outfit as I turned pink, Tomura looked away as she produced her scent.
Giran kicked her unconscious as I sighed in relief. Her Quirk would cause a problem for Tomura...
"Giran!" Tomura called out as we three hurried along. Giran huffed as he kept pace with us, giving us a thumbs up.
"Keep goin', Boss!" He called out, picking a fight with Erasure as we hurried toward our safe location. "Moonfish, yer up!"
"Leave nice lady alone!" I giggled as Moonfish neared them, chomping his teeth.
"Ugh, why do I have to fight the cannibal?!" Erasure groaned as he began the fight. A mother pro-hero, Mic, leapt into the fray with them, giving us a clear shot out of there.
"Boss," Mr. Compressor neared them, defending us from another pro-hero, "Ma'am, are you all right?" He tipped his hat to me; such a gentleman...
"I'm fine!" I called out, "Look out!"
"Ah-hah!" He leapt up with a split. I winced; I couldn't help but wince when a man does the splits. He turned around on the heels of his shoes, wagging his finger at the pro-hero, "Now, now, Gran Torino; you and I both know you're too old to challenge with me! I'll try not to break your hip!" He leapt at him.
Tomura held me tightly and panted heavily as we neared an old abandoned football field; the score card broken and in need of repair. It was safe for a moment, I sighed as he caught his breath.
"Dabi; Himiko!" He called out as he put me down gently. I looked around. Only debris surrounded us. It was quiet... too quiet...
"They must still be in the fight!" I declared. "Should we-"
"No, Kyu," he said gently, his thumb rubbing my cheek. "This is all for you. You're safe; that's what matters to me."
"Tomura..." I sighed with a smile, leaning into the palm of his hand as he stroked my cheek with his thumb.
"Ah..." he sighed as he took a moment to pin in my hairpiece, "There you go."
"I thought this was destroyed when Katsuki-" he shushed me with the tip of his fingers.
"As long as I live and breathe," he swore to me in a gentle tone, "You will always have that hairpiece within your grasp, Kyu." I smiled as he wiped the tears from my eye, tucking the loose strand of hair behind my ear.
He removed his mask, giving me a closed-smile as I kissed him then, pouring all of my feelings into my lips. He grunted in surprise before melting into my embrace. His fingers were tangled in my hair as he held my head to his.
"Kiss me like that again," he growled low in his throat with a smirk, "I may have to pin you to the bed~"
"I love you, Tomura," I whispered to him as he smiled softly at me.
"I love you too, my Kyu," he murmured to me. My heart soared- he called me his. "Your hair is all a mess..." he frowned as he pulled his fingers through the strands. I felt my body purr as he gently traced my cheekbones with his warm hands. His touch was gentle, although his eyes reflected a deep anger...
"All Might touched you like that..." he growled as I chuckled. "He's going to pay..."
"That he will..." I agreed as he gasped, quickly purring his mask back on. He moved in front of me, raising an arm in defense as All Might stood before us, in a hero pose.
"Am I interrupting something?"
