7 DAYS WERE FINALLY OVER
and you passed the selection with minimal struggles here and there when you were trying to use different techniques than the wind breathing. You ended up with nothing though.

It was a small let-down, not gonna lie. You had hoped that you would end up creating your very own, very badass breathing style now that you've already gotten the chance. Those dreams, however, shall apparently remain unfulfilled.

You now stood at the safe area within the wisteria trees, looking at the two children of Ubuyashiki, whose names you really struggled to remember. Besides you, only two others had passed and one of them looked more traumatized than Zenitsu did the moment he passed the selection in the manga.

"Welcome back," the two kids said in unison as a small smile tugged onto their faces. "Congratulations, we're pleased that you have returned safe and sound."

"First, we shall issue you all uniforms. We will take your measurements, after which your rank will be engraved. There are ten ranks in total." One of them then elaborated, listing the names of all the ranks that existed and so on. You could vaguely remember all that but all in all, these small things were getting hard to recall after a whole year of not reading the manga nor watching the anime.

'Damn I wish I would be like the [ y/n ]'s in the fan fictions I've read... they could remember all the shit that is happening' you thought, slightly pitying yourself for your poor memory.

A sudden clap of hands pulled you right back into reality. Three crows were gracefully descending upon your small group of three. Ok, that was a lie. Two of them were gliding down elegantly. The last one looked more as if it would do a terrible crash-landing every second now. That he did. Into your face.

The sudden impact of the crow smacking into your face at full force caught you off guard and made you stumble back. Pulling the animal off and holding it at arms length because it wouldn't stop thrashing around, you stared at the feral animal in horror.
